Help Support the opening of Hope Bridge SEN SchoolThere is not enough provisions for SEN children in the East Riding area. Children as young as 5 are having to travel long distances to gain access to education, which all children should be entitled to, nearer to there home. It is important to ensure that families are able to be closer to there childrens school incase of emergencies, and to be fully involved in there childs education...without worry of travel...1,331 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Julie Robinson

A Petition to Replace a QuoteIt was brought to my attention that on the second floor of the Collegiate Campus, there is a quote from Suu Kyi, the current leader of Myanmar. She has rendered the entire Rohingya population as stateless and has justified the killings of civilians to what the US Ambassador to the UN refers to as an 'ethnic cleansing'. Although the quote was put up whilst she was commemorated as a 'hero of her people', Suu Kyi's Nobel Peace Prize has since been revoked and all other honorary awards have been rescinded. It would not be befitting as an institution which hosts the faculty of law and one that emphasises the importance of human rights, to then revere the words of Suu Kyi in light of the subjugation that she has incited.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Zain H

Change anthem sang before England sporting matchesI think it is damaging to the union of the UK for England to assume to sing the UK national anthem whereas the other countries do not.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Xander Bennett

Ban single use plastic condiment sachetsThese single condiment sachets are littering our streets and ending up in our water ways and oceans. Not only can they only be used once, they can not be recycled and in order to get to the product inside, it involves tearing off a small piece of the packaging that often litters. Fast food and connivence stores are serving these sachets all over the world. We don't need them. We don't want them. So please stop.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Emmajo Haslam

Make the Lords work for their moneyAs I understand it, the Lords get paid £300 or thereabouts per day in the House of Lords and all they need to do for this money is to sign their name. They can then go home or go to the cheap bar in the House and have a drink, pop into the House and listen for 5 minutes or even pop in and go to sleep. I think if they come to work they should actually have to work.114 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Zed Rodgers

Mammograms at 40 not 50.I met several people today in their 40's who had had Breast Cancer. Mammagrams would have meant it could be found and treated earlier.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sharon crowe

Bigger best before date labels on foodI am a support worker and much to my shame I had not thought of this until a tenant mentioned it this week as she likes to be independent, she likes to be involved in all aspects of her life and you would think this would be an easy one. Anyone with sight difficulties would have to go around carrying a magnifying glass to see most of these dates. A simple fix would be for food manufacturers to increase the size of these labels.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kathleen Tallamy

Ban Battery FarmingI first heard about battery farms when I was about 12. I was shocked at how I humane people could be and I wrote to my MP about it. When that achieved nothing I had to start this petition. I really hope to help the chickens in their horrible conditions. Battery chickens don't get enough space to live. It is shown that they have high levels of stress and as a result they peck at each other and themselves. Cannibalism also occurs due to the stress caused by the lack of space. In response to this their beaks are chopped off with electronically heated blades which causes acute and chronic pain. Most of them never get to go outside and never get to see the sun, they remain in cages or crowded barns their whole lives until they are slaughtered for us to eat.59 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Amelie de Casagrande
