Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK where an opt-out system for organ donation is not yet in place. This law has passed through the NI Assembly and been given Royal Assent, but is now delayed on a technicality because of the stalemate at Stormont. This law would give people like 6 year old Dáithí MacGabhann a better chance of a life-saving transplant. That's why people from all corners of the UK are demanding that the Secretary of State uses his powers to put this law in place now.

Installing fixed speed cameras on Bridgeman Street and Higher Swan Lane that can actually catch those who are driving dangerously is important given how common this unacceptable behaviour has become. This road is busy with high footfall of pedestrians, many of whom are children. There is also heavy traffic of school runs. Drivers on the road are responsible for driving safely. Unfortunately, a minority have made Bridgeman Street and Higher Swan Lane a dangerous place to cross and drive on. We need your support. Residents on Bridgeman Street have complained about the growing problem of dangerous drivers speeding both directions on Bridgeman Street and Higher Swan Lane. Drivers speed down Higher Swan Lane and lose control as they go around the bend into Bridgeman Street causing horrific accidents over the years. The same is true for cars dangerously speeding up Bridgeman Street on the opposite direction towards Higher Swan Lane. The speeding cars too often crash into parked cars near the bend. A resident, who has lived in the locality for four years, has his car severely damaged four times. Many residents do not even feel safe in their own houses, because, they said, if there were no cars parked outside, speeding cars could crash into the front of their houses. This area is busy with pedestrians of all ages, as it is a location for a mosque, a church, and schools, as well as many shops and takeaways. The council has agreed to repairs some existing speed bumps and install speed monitoring cameras, but these measures are not enough to tackle this problem. We need your urgent support with this petition to make sure Transport for Greater Manchester listens to our plea to put fixed speed cameras on Bridgeman Street and Higher Swan Lane near the bend that connects both streets. By doing this, we are making the road safer for our community, particularly our children and the elderly. Having speed cameras on Halliwell road is important particularly when we have the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We have school runs, lunch times as well as the commutes to and from work. As drivers on the road, we are responsible for driving safely. Unfortunately, a minority have made Halliwell Road a dangerous place to cross. Even though we have traffic lights and zebra crossings, it just isn't enough! We need to implement speed cameras to keep the community safe and to catch those who are driving dangerously.

The Lothian bus open door day has been a huge part of bus enthusiasts like myself across Edinburgh and further afield. It is also an opportunity for the wider Edinburgh community to be part of there bus services and learn more about sustainable travel and electric buses. It was such a fun day out, with the bus wash being a highlight of the trip. My family even used the bus wheels as a measurement for my height each year. It is very much missed and I ask Lothian Buses to reinstate it for 2023 and beyond. We, the concerned residents and parents of students at Outwood Academy Valley, call for Nottinghamshire County Council to locate a pedestrian crossing on Carlton Road between Ashley Road and Carlton Avenue, Worksop to enable students from the school to cross safely when going to and from school. The safety of our children and young people should be everyone's responsibility.

In 1913, Barry Docks was the largest coal exporting port in the world but today the Docks waterfront is looking to transform into a place where the community can enjoy and to create a better more environmentally friendly future. The funding would have gone towards developing a new water sports facility at Barry Waterfront and a new marina at the site known as the mole. The bid for funding was a strong one and we are determined to do what we can to ensure it succeeds in the next funding round.

Hythe skate park isn't leaner friendly. This puts a lot of people off riding for the first time and them missing out on so much. The friendships you make. The reward you from learning new tricks while you ride. These 3 new simple ramps would be perfect for people starting out as well as experienced riders. I teach skateboarding and live I in Hythe. I travel to other skateparks like Deal, and F51 to teach because it’s difficult to learn at Hythe. The lips on each quarter pipe that are already there are in serious need of resurfacing. Also the ramps are big, that’s not a bad thing. We just want to add some smaller ramps to encourage new riders and support the local community that’s already there.

How can we sit and allow this to happen in our name? These children have already experienced untold trauma and we are failing and endangering them. What have we come to as a country when we allow this to happen?
