I've personally had my dad's resting place violated on numerous occasions and it’s absolutely heart wrenching. I've also heard many other incidents occurring in the cemetery of the same nature and it’s about time the local authority took serious action again this and hand out severe consequences for the culprits. We all visit our loved ones and like I said it’s heart wrenching enough for bereaving families! I strongly feel that it’s about time that Thurnscoe Cemetery had concealed CCTV installed in areas where items of personal sentimental belongings have been stolen from loved ones graves. The accusations of loss of face-to-face appointments with GPs have been clearly refuted by medical leaders, with data showing they are unfounded. And while some patients do have poor and upsetting experiences that are clearly bad practice, the majority of us are satisfied with the care provided. Making hardworking family doctors scapegoats for years of government failings is completely unacceptable. GPs and patients are on the same team, and the media attempts to drive a wedge between them is dishonest and destructive. 2 surgeries are closing a week, 3 GPs are leaving every day due to the unbearable pressure and suicide is 4 times the national average. We need action now to stop the loss of this vital and valued public service. The aim is to run down services to drive patients into private care and private health insurance and demoralised and browbeaten doctors into leaving the NHS.

HMRC thinks that the biggest companies in the UK have underpaid their taxes by a massive £36 billion. That’s money that should be spent on schools, hospitals and other public services. It is deeply unfair to see the biggest companies paying less tax at the same time that the government is raising taxes on ordinary workers. The Prime Minister and his government have to stand up and fix the system. This means closing loopholes and investing properly in HMRC so that everyone pays their fair share. The government should finally introduce the stalled plan to shine a light over the offshore owners of UK property.

Time is ticking! We must stop producing so much waste before it's too late. Polystyrene is one of the least recycled plastic types and can easily end up in the rivers, seas and ocean. From there, it travels up the food chain into dolphins, turtles, whales and even humans!

Unfortunately there are no laws to guarantee that all humans deserve the right to have food, therefore no one is held accountable for when people have to live without for periods of time, this needs to change so people can have a better standard of living. Afghan refugees in Haringey need to be fed. Having food is a basic necessity that all humans, anywhere in the world, need to survive. These food banks may be the only source they get and if there are only a small amount of these banks in an area, how can the thousands needing to be fed eat?

I remember the day Italy beat England 3-2 on penalties , like it was yesterday not because of the loss , but because of the aftermath of Saka and Rashford’s terror. Anyone in that situation would have felt extremely endangered, let alone a nineteen year old (at the time). The whole nation watched this delinquency . How would you feel being attacked just because of the colour of your skin? Imagine you’re a football player and you’ve experienced racial abuse… how would you feel? What would you do? We want football clubs to have harsher restrictions so that football players feel comfortable and protected whilst playing for their teams. This is because no one should have to go through this as it can be a disempowering experience.I believe that football clubs should have first and second warnings to fans who are racists towards players. Their first warning should be a year ban and if they do this again they should get a life time ban as this is affecting players mental health. As a rule the FA has an anti-racism education pack produced by Show Racism the Red Card which aims to familiarise young people with the causes and consequences of racism as well as helping them to develop good relationships and respect the differences between people, regardless of ethnicity. Unfortunately this is ineffective as it is not a law to hate crime, however the Equalities Act of 2010 is supposed to protect people from experiencing racism and discrimination. We are lobbying Peter McCormick (Chairman of the FA) , in order for change to occur so that stricter measures are taken when racial incidents happen. Sign my petition if you want Peter McCormick to know that we all agree that we should have harsher restrictions.

The way the law is structured means that you get up from £400 fines to £2,500 fines for littering. However, there are no laws forcing councils to put recycling bins on high roads. This means that the lack of law is forcing me to break the law. What type of hypocritical society is this? Other people should join for the movement of change and improvement of our local area in terms of litter. As a parent/carer/child, is this something you would want your family to go through? If not, please sign this petition to force Haringey council into putting more bins and help our cause of helping Wood Green become GREATly clean again! I walk through ‘Wood Green High Road’ everyday and I am having to dodge constant litter throwing at an alarming rate. This is not hygienic and could result in diseases spreading.

This is a local park where all the locals go on the weekend to have a nice picnic while there child is playing football or playing in the playground. This is also very important to me because when I was growing up I went to this park everyday and I didn't feel safe especially when there where teenagers playing football. So I want to make this park a safe space so other kids can feel safe and enjoy there time at this park.

We are writing to express our deep concern at the parking provision for UHL staff. In light of the recent case of the kidnapping, rape and murder of Sarah Everard, who was walking home at night, and the predatory murder of Sabina Nessa, we feel this issue needs addressing as a matter of urgency. UHL staff are expected to park at King Power Stadium, a 17 min walk from the Leicester Royal Infirmary site. During daylight hours, this is not an issue. However, for staff finishing shifts at anti-social hours, this represents an unacceptable level of risk to staff safety. The staff multi-story car park is only available from 15:45. This is not appropriate for staff working antisocial hours. For example, a medical on call shift is usually 9:00-22:00, some A&E shifts are 13:30-23:30 and nursing staff work 7:00-19:30. Therefore, these staff have no choice but to park at King Power Stadium, or pay up to £13:30 per day to park in the patient car park, on top of what they’re already paying for their staff parking permits. When this issue has been raised with the parking office by staff, they have suggested that staff move their cars from King Power Stadium at 16:00 to the staff multi-storey car park. Many of our staff would be happy to do this, however, it is practically impossible for them to take 30mins away from their clinical duties in order to move their cars. They have patients to look after and if they’re on call, they may be carrying bleeps and cannot leave the hospital site. This needs addressing as a matter of urgency as our staff do not feel safe walking to their cars at night. We propose one of the following: 1. Staff finishing at antisocial hours should be allowed to park for free at the on site patient carpark or staff multi-storey car park 2. A shuttle service is established to transport staff between the Leicester Royal Infirmary site and King Power Stadium for staff finishing at anti-social hours 3. Security escort is provided for any member of staff who feels unsafe walking to or from their car at anti-social hours 4. Cover is provided for staff to leave the hospital site at 16:00 in order to move their cars from King Power Stadium to the staff multi-storey car park UHL staff work tirelessly for their patients, and the least that UHL can do is make sure that staff feel safe coming to work. This is a relatively small step that can be taken to show staff that they are valued, rather than just rota fillers.

We welcome the government's commitment made two years ago to build a new hospital at Whipps Cross. The July flooding that closed the A&E, evacuated nearly 100 patients, and prevented hundreds of essential operations showed once again the dire condition the hospital is in. The staff that have performed heroically throughout the pandemic, and the people of north east London and beyond deserve and need a new hospital now. The government is deciding which hospitals receive money first and that needs to be Whipps Cross. Sign the petition to secure our new hospital now. #WhippsWontWait
