The Mad Hatters Tea Room at Derby's Alvaston Park is due to close. Derby City Council has decided not to renew its lease because the authority wants to take it "in house". This will effect greatly the people of Alvaston who use this facility and of course undo a great deal of work carried out by our volunteers at the 'Alvaston Park Friends' in particular who have worked tirelessly to get our fantastic park to green flag standard, we need to fight this and keep the Mad hatter cafe under private management. We're worried that if the council take over the lease there will be a drop in quality and the prices will go up. Given all the cuts that are happening in Derby right now (toilets closing, the water feature and more) we're worried that the council could end up closing the cafe.

The law needs to be changed so that people work for Amazon, thus gaining employee rights, with adequate breaks, holidays and decent pay.

Many many lives within the local community have been touched and sadly affected by the incident at Sandilands. It is only right that a permanent memorial is created nearby where Family, friends and further members of the public can come and pay thier respect. One of the proposals being put to the public is the merger of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset and the formation of a smaller conurbation of North Dorset, Purbeck, West Dorset and Weymouth & Portland, but this is not the preferred option by the councils Another option is for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to join forces with the remaining councils forming the second unitary authority A third option would be for the existing unitaries of Bournemouth and Poole to combine, leaving the rest of Dorset to merge A fourth option is to retain all nine councils There has been a lot spent on consultations that attracted 40 people or less. Hey my name is Kara, I am a Care Leaver, & have been in care my whole life. I have been moved around the United Kingdom until I was ten and placed in London with family. This was the best move for me. I now have support from my family, made friends that accepted me & I felt like I finally found a place that I could call home. I will have been living here for 11 years in February but Southwark housing are saying I'm not entitled to social housing. The reason for this is because 17 years ago I was placed in Wigan. I have no connections to Wigan at all. All my life I've been "placed" somewhere. I've never had the choice, I'm 20 years old and I can now choose to stay in London. So why are you denying me my human rights and why do you want me to move to Wigan? Nothing is there for me. From the age of 17 I have been a carer working with elderly and disabled service which I loved. I have now been working as a support worker for service users with mental health. As a young women who has spent her whole life in the care system It is hard to stay on track. With the help and support that I have in London I have been able to and I don't want to lose that. I feel that this issue is important because the majority of children in care, don't have a say or a choice in where they can live especially when they're young. So why as an adult must we suffer even more?

If the surgeries close the patients would be dispersed to further away location such as Long Lee and as far as Cottengley 5 to 6 miles away. The transport for unwell elderly patients would be extremely difficult and the waiting list for appointments would be extremely long to these surgeries due to the fact that they would be taking on thousands of patients from north street surgery and vale street surgery. The health and well being for the elderly and people with transport issues is not being taken in to consideration by the NHS. People with communication and transport problems will be be most affected because north street surgery and vale street surgery have a diverse staff to deal with people of all languages and back grounds. Between 20 to 30 people from these surgeries would lose there jobs hard working people trying to help and serve there communities .

The attempt to control lobbyists enacted under the Cameron government was a travesty of the reforms proposed by a Select Committee of the Commons. Instead of restraining the activities of lobbyists on behalf of major companies, the new law only restricted the activities of firms which offered their services to commercial enterprises while simultaneously placing heavy burdens on charities, trade unions and NGOs.

I have personal experience of this unfortunately as my own father died prematurely whilst in HMP Brixton Prison of a Myocardinal Infraction ie a heart attack. He was on beta-blockers at the time. I still have his watch stuck on the exact time. I think that if every Prison had a defibrillator onsite and the staff are trained in Urgent Medical Care then many incidents could be prevented or at least alleviated whilst waiting for Emergency Care Providers. Especially when they may have a condition which could affect their Mental or Physical Health or both. We are all human and even if we are sent to Prison don't you think we owe it to the prisoners to take care of them too. It is a Human Right's Issue and it should happen. There are so many Prisoners and Overcrowding is a Huge Issue. I Urge you to join this campaign thank you for reading this issue

This is part of the compensation culture we have inherited from the USA and is making Health and Safety so restrictive that business especially in the construction industry is hardly able to function. It has got so ridiculous that children cannot even run around in the playground and we wonder why 50% of them are obese.

Imposing these changes will cause a lot of the local drivers who make a honest living will be forced out of work, many of the residents of Rossendale depend on these local taxis, and these new proposals will wipe out the taxi trade in Rossendale.
