• STOP THE RISE OF FUEL PRICES
We all need to take a stance against this government that people voted for and put our trust in. They need to realise that these big companies are running over everyone and they don't care then divulge sickening profits while we become worse off. If this is left unchecked then none of us are going to be able to afford to live.

  • Send our Returned drugs to Ukrainian refugees
Help the people of Ukraine to have a continuous supply of medicine. Stop the waste of unopened and important medication. Medication is returned to Pharmacies for many reasons, because someone has a change of dose, a change of drug, they do not need to take them anymore or someone passed away, to name just a few. It’s disgraceful when people are going without and may fall sick without continuity of medication .

  • Allow UK families to register offers of accomodation to Ukraine Refugees
Often it is the everyday people that can truly provide solutions. We do not want to feel powerless when we have the power to help our 'bothers and sisters'. We need to open our hearts and homes to these victims, please offer your support to create a register and/or a room in your home.

  • Employment legal aid
Because this can improve the lives of many, as most of active adults are in employment, hence struggling with the situation I have described. As a clear example, I know of a person living with mental health condition, and used to be employed by Lidl Ltd. He has been constantly discriminated against and victimised, every time when he attempted to highlight the management wrongdoing. Eventually, following entrapment, he was unfairly dismissed, which obviously, he cannot challenge as he has not got the means to take legal action against Lidl Ltd. I can refer to my own example as well, this time related to the public sector. I have worked with NHS since Oct 2015. Signed off due to the distress of providing end of life care for my mother, sick leave subsequently extended due to bereavement, I have has no support whatsoever from my employer. Furthermore, I have struggled for over one year to have organised a safe RTW by my employer. For over one year, they have not provided me any support, they ignored my e-communication, they obstructed me to RTW- which could have helped with my recovery, they have breached confidentiality, they disregarded grossly health and safety requirements and my statutory rights as an employee, regardless the fact that I am a vulnerable employee, who had cancer and further developed a severe anxiety disorder, due to bereavement and the work related stress , which impacts greatly on my quality of life. Since May 2020 up to today’s date, my employer has still not implemented the reasonable adjustments as required, instead they discriminate against me and intimidate me, when I am attempting to assert my rights. I have experienced such a distress, that I even ended up on a suicidal watch, as I reached at the stage of self-harm risk. I am positive that so many others can relate to these examples, and maybe even worse. I strongly believe that people should the very least, have the chance to take legal actions and have the support to do so, when necessary.

  • Ukraine: politicians must tone down the rhetoric
With huge power comes immense responsibility. So it is urgent that politicians tone down their rhetoric and calibrate their words carefully so we can all get through this crisis. The whole world is watching and needs to have confidence that nuclear armed leaders can act responsibly.

  • Marine Protected Areas should be protected
We urgently need to act to reduce carbon in the atmosphere and seagrass beds are "low-hanging fruit", absorbing 35 times as much carbon as forests on land. Many species will benefit from proper enforcement of MPAs and it's likely the fishing industry will benefit. The ocean is losing species at an alarming rate. Young sea creatures need a safe place to grow.

  • Double taxation of workers who were stranded in the UK during pandemic global boarder closures
The UK taxation system is unfair. Whilst they make exceptions to multi millionaires and taxation breaks for large companies, the workers whatever grade they are are penalised either through double taxation rule and as a full time UK resident (a persons salary and pension are taxed at the country they work in and then in the country when they overstayed the 90 day rule in) fully understand if someone did this under normal circumstances they were liable to taxation but during a pandemic and based on situation they had no control of where they could not return to their work country due boarder closures, lockdown rules and health risk, how can the UK HMRC or any world taxation not make even the smallest exemption for those workers or emergency exemption for these group of people. So many people have the vision that people who work overseas are high earners and have considerable money hidden. This is not the case when workers are local hires, eg: regular salaries based in the local countries and full local taxations but are classed as foreign citizens, so no benefits and have to purchase numerous medical insurances to enable for them to work in the country. Many people work overseas because their jobs have move there, due to Brexit or companies have moved their HQ's. https://www.ft.com/content/ed280173-abed-46fd-8ac1-f33fef04746d
