Canvey Island X-ray unit is a lifeline to residents of canvey Island and is urgently needed.not only for our elderly population but but is widely used for all residents

Devastating and extreme weather is already here. The recently released Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report is clear that we need to enact net zero policies immediately to prevent further warming of the earth. Further warming will make this extreme weather much worse with accompanying sea level rises and mass species extinction.

Please join us to protest about the potential felling of the Weeping Ash at Church House, Buglawton, Congleton. This tree is a beautiful and healthy tree which is a real asset to our town.

There are so many organisations in the UK, usually run by volunteers, doing so much good in their local communities, and they are struggling to raise funds due to Covid19 restrictions. If they also have to pay fees to banks just to manage their funds, this will have a serious impact on their ability to continue their excellent work. These include local sports clubs, youth groups, food banks, Scout & Guide groups, and so many other charities, both large and small. Banks make enormous profits, and they should do their part in helping charities, not dealing them another blow at this difficult time. Please help this campaign.

When Leek town centre had a roundabout and less traffic lights, vehicles were not rushing and speeding so much and there were less accidents, fatalities and pollution caused by traffic light stops and starts. 20 mph speed limit will help shops survive and help our main industry, Tourism. Everyone should feel safe in their home town centre be it in Leek or any where else.

Because I am certainly Not on my own with regards to this ! There must be hundreds possibly even thousands of people in the same situation as myself ! With a landlord who does not permit them to have a small pet ! Why should a landlord have this much power !! It’s wrong totally unfair

If children's parents are unable to afford their dental care then their dental health will suffer, parents will have no choice but to take their children to A&E when they are suffering the results of not having been able to see a dentist. What is the point of children being entitled to free dental if you literally cannot find an NHS dentist able to take them on, with dental practices who are presently under contract with the NHS, citing waiting lists of 2-3 years with no guarantee that by that time they will still be under contract.

People need to know what hours they are working. No work-life balance is possible if you can be told to work at the drop of a hat. It is unbearable.

It was not by the “authority” of the Housing Ombudsman; of which I am sure - most if not all of the tenants in the recent and shameful scandal over disrepair and living conditions (deemed adequate and suitable) will have happily been directed to by the relevant Housing Association’s that came under scrutiny; but rather it took exposure to damning Public outcry, vilification, shaming, and the WEIGHT of the gathering, and unfavourable Press to compel these deafened and autocratic Housing Associations to un-trench themselves, and act with decency; eventually withdrawing and retracting THEIR OWN shameful “self-determinations”. Equally NO politician, or local MP forced them to address this long-standing and indolent contradiction prior to this. Being unlikely to be victims in their OWN properties of mould (exacerbating health conditions), damp, fire hazard, and electrical disrepair; and not being subjected to living in these conditions (or similar) on a daily basis, - indolently encouraging YOU, to be patient, in THEIR enquiries, in absence of any degree of empathy, urgency, or understanding appearing to be forthcoming. In the absence of any impetus, enthusiasm, or motivation from our elected officials; our “representatives” indolently deeming the current framework for dispute resolution (the “broken” system that WE are THE VICTIMS of any failures or shortcomings in) as “adequate” and “fit for purpose”; out of a need for MORE robust, balanced, and EQUAL representation, and in the absence of any consideration, or concern on this matter being extended by our locally elected officials and MP’s. I urge and encourage ALL Housing Association tenants that have been, or remain dissatisfied with their treatment and experience from their Housing Association; frustrated and fed-up with the lack of interest or concern demonstrated by paid and elected officials expected to represent and look after OUR interests, to take this opportunity to rally together, make a difference to your treatment, – as vulnerable cash cows having no secure tenure, and sign my on-line petition for this long-overdue housing reform; add your voice (your tenancy), and rebuke your treatment, we need 100,000 signatures to bypass our MPs ourselves, and our struggle to be finally taken notice of and debated in Parliament, calling for the IMMEDIATE forming of a STATUTORY body to represent OUR interests - the average tenant. https://twitter.com/letdownbyMPs https://www.facebook.com/groups/593643284935407
