• Stop Domestic Abuse
To make this possible, we are going to create a petition. Once this petition reaches 100,000 signatures the government are obliged to take our campaign to be discussed in parliament.

  • End food poverty
Dear Rishi Sunak, I am writing to you today as families like mine can't afford to live on Universal Credit. Most of our Universal Credit payments go on rent, gas, electric and other house hold bills. By the time we have paid out everything we have little left to spend on food shopping. We can't afford any luxuries. People like myself have to go to charity shops to by clothes and food banks to be able to eat. We shouldn't have poverty - not in this country. It needs to end now by helping low income families by raising benefits like Universal Credit. We urgently need help, now. Poverty should not exist in the UK. It is horrible watching the news and seeing other families struggling like this.

  • PENSIONERS FROZEN OUT
I believe that Pensioners as a section of our society have been treated unfairly especially with this recent spring budget and it also emphasises the value that this Government attributes to the Elderly in our Society.

  • Allowing Students To Work As Care assistants Under Agencies
Lives are at risk. The limited staff available could decide not to continue anymore due to the mental stress the job poses, allowing students to join would not only give room for old staff members to pass knowledge to new people, but also have a significant growth in the health and social care sector

  • Ban Bailiffs in Tower Hamlets
Last year despite the pandemic Tower Hamlets council sent bailiffs to over 1000 households. Adding needless stress to the lives of often already vulnerable people. Bailiffs often use force to enter homes, sometimes with children inside, and can seize possessions. People in debt often site a visit from a bailiff as the most stressful part of dealing with debt. It causes huge amounts of unnecessary stress that can cause or worsen mental health problems There is also no evidence that bailiff use increases the amount of debt collected. Most countires in the world dont use bailiffs and some councils in the UK are now moving towards more ethical debt collection. Its time Tower Hamlets did too.
