• damaging, racist and hateful drawing in the daily mail
This image instigates racial hatred and violence! I find this image unacceptable, offensive and an act of racism from the Daily Mail which will only create further divide and hate among people. After the shocking events of the weekend, surely now more than ever, we need to come together instead of creating a larger divide through hateful propagander!

  • Paper not plastic!
I recently bought £90+ worth of clothing and the only wrapping on offer was a 5p plastic bag! I am happy to pay for paper, but surely we ought to be getting rid of plastic, not being trapped into buying yet more? The arguments about a 'bag for life' or reusable still do not take the plastic out of circulation. We need a national campaign. This is about non-food large stores, selling clothes, shoes etc. The food stores have sorted their packaging over the last few years, because they sell consumables It is an environmental and social responsibility matter. We need to use our resources carefully ,so for me that means avoiding plastic whenever possible and instead using and re-using paper based wrappings and bags.

  • STOP "Selective" Humanity Reports on MEDIA
We want the FULL TRUTH, visible and standing next to each other as Parisians are equal to Lebanese and Palestinians as ALL of us are HUMANs and suffer equally. Angelina Jolie posted about the ISIS attack in Lebanon which didn't receive any media coverage (see: https://www.facebook.com/OF.Angelina/photos/a.127159833963497.22403.127098593969621/1137146722964798/?type=3&fref=nf) Look at the current BBC website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news Can you find anything about Lebanon, other ISIS hit regions and daily Palestinian sufferings?

  • Wightman Road Street Party
Residents from adjoining roads could not only join in to celebrate and enjoy the festivities, but come together to talk and get involved in workshops to discuss traffic congestion, think about possible interventions that would improve the area, look at measures to reduce traffic overall, and understand the affects of pollution upon our health. Biannually Harringay has a Food Festival, and is a great success closing Green Lanes to traffic for the day, the Wightman Road Street Party could alternate with a focus on improving residents health and the health of the eight thousand people living on the Harringay Ladder. A street party would provide a respite for residents from traffic for the day., traffic that Wightman Road face every day throughout the year. This would also allow the 28 roads on the Harringay Ladder to come together to have workshops and challenge the amount of traffic the area is exposed to. Wightman Road takes the brunt of traffic on the Harringay Ladder, and has been designated a B road, it is no different to any other residential road, it was intended as a service road by the late Victorians, not a bypass. This event is important because of the traffic that relentlessly travel up this road every day affects the health of its residents, and reflects the situation where residents have no control over the roads they live on across London.

  • We want a Facebook filter for global solidarity against terrorism.
In a world traumatised by acts of terror, we should only ever divide ourselves into those people who live their lives in love of their fellow man, woman and child and those who live by hate and fear. Never by colour, belief or geographic location. We are strongest if we stand together, side by side, against those who would divide us with extremism and terror. Those who would break us will often attempt to turn their victims against each other. Let's remember that we're in this together. And together, as one people is the only way we can win.

  • BBC! Re-employ Iain Lee.
Iain Lee was sacked by the BBC after arguing with a Christian Legal Centre lawyer Libby Powell, when she stated that according to the Bible, homosexuality was a sin. Iain stated, correctly, that this was homophobic.

  • Respond to Paris attacks by welcoming Syrian refugees
Welcoming more refugees from Syria would be a beautiful and fitting memorial to those who were murdered in Paris, by reaching out to help these other victims of IS's violence. It would demonstrate the stark contrast between our bravery and compassion, and IS's corwardice and brutality. It would send a clear, defiant message that the UK will not bow to terrorism and will not give in to fear.

  • Extra Third Trimester Scan to Prevent Premature and IUGR Births
This is important to me as my first daughter was born IUGR and we were not aware , when I became pregnant with my second daughter we were given am extra third trimester Doppler scan which detected the IUGR and Reverse chord flow, which led to a better planned pregnancy and early delivery. My Girls are in my photo Rubie was born at 32/40 @ 2lb 7oz delivered via EMCS due to IUGR and severe pre-eclampsia .. Rubie is now a happy average 5 year old at the same level as other children her age with no learning disabilities. Scarlet was born 30/40 @ 1lb 8oz due to severe early onset IUGR and reverse chord flow via EMCS only detected because of an extra Doppler scan. Scarlet is now a happy average 1 year old hitting all her milestones with no disabilities. Although both are tiny for their age.

  • Vote to create peace and stability in the World
The West has, by its political and military activities, dramatically reduced the safety and security of people around the World and has created the refugee crisis. These activities have significantly increased the escalation of tensions between countries and religious groups and brought about an increase in violence everywhere.

  • Stop Mega Dairies. Stop the lagoon in Hartland Devon.
Mega Dairies, where over 1000 cows are held in sheds 24/7 all year, are cruel and cause serious environmental damage. It is often called 'zero-grazing' when cows are never allowed in fields. It is a disgraceful form of farming... and it is entirely unnecessary. It is motivated only by greed not a social need. In Hartland in Devon an enormous slurry lagoon has been built, without even asking for permission, in the middle of an AONB. Since then the whole area has suffered considerable environmental damage and several people blame their health problems on it. And the cows... well they are healthy when measured in terms of milk yield but just look into their eyes. It is sad to see. It is in complete contrast to cows in fields that show curiosity and a spectrum of social behaviors. Please help us stop this kind of farming. Stopping this lagoon is the first step. http://stopit.org.uk The farm in Hartland is owned by the same persion that was responsible for the Nocton that resulted in an uproar of protest and Early Day Motions in Parliment.

  • Stop front line council cuts!
Not only are you making a large number of hard-working people redundant, but also these cuts are affecting the residents living within the boroughs and the way that they access council services. For example; The decision to close cash-offices in councils means that, for our older generation, it it now much more complicated to pay their rent and council tax...they have to have a suitable bank account (using unfamiliar technology) and be able to access and understand the new paypoint system. There is a lot to be said for the human-touch....face to face customer service will always be more efficient and effective than automated systems as less errors will be made by the residents and more help available from the council employees.
