They are the only community garden space available for hundreds of residents, and they are in constant use to grow herbs and vegetables. The gardens were deliberately preserved as community space in the original designs of Barrington Court, by Powell and Moya, highly respected and influential post war architects. However Camden Council, desperate to balance its books, is trying to sell off this and other public land to reduce its deficit. One of the gardens has a massive copper beach tree that will be killed by the new houses. The council has tried to deceive residents by claiming in the plans that the land is "derelict" offering "no community value", where in fact they are thriving allotments in constant use. There is precious little green space in the Gospel Oak estates as it is, and we want to prevent Camden Council stamping out what we have left for purely financial gain.

The people named in the report were supposed to be protecting children and were guilty of extreme negligence. It is important for those in positions of responsibility to be really accountable. Saying sorry is not enough, saying lessons will be learned is not enough and staying in post should be out of the question. There is generally an attitude amongst senior management that it can earn large salaries and that this quite separate from the damage it might do through its own incompetence or immorality. Far too often the large salaries are unjustified.

The public are in very real danger of losing the NHS as we have come to love it if the Conservatives retain power after May 2015. The NHS at its very best is universally popular - across supporters of the main political parties. But only Labour has the chance to end the privatisation and marketization of our health care. Were Labour to come out in support of the 5 Points in my Petition, they would enjoy cross-Party support and earn the right to rule.

Whistle blowers are being hounded out of jobs for speaking up about wrong doings and then becoming unemployable because of this. Colleagues are too scared to back them. Confidence in public services will be restored and confidence of employees to report issues without reprisals. Current internal whistle blowing policies are ineffective and not used.

The BBC, apart from Chanel 4, is a Public Services Broadcasting Company, widely regarded as independent and trustworthy across the world. Unless it is prepared to use that trust, and the expectation of the license payer to examine seriously important issues like this, it will have betrayed it's Charter.

Bitter experience has shown that councils cannot be trusted to protect children or set their own houses in order. If officers are prosecuted it will send out a strong message that they will be held to account and will focus their minds on their legal duties.

Cancer just about impacts on everyone. It has blighted and touched upon most peoples lives. The government has as its first right to protect its people. The government are servants to its people.

Wadih came to the United Kingdom in 1997 because his life was in danger from the various gangs operating in Beirut who were victimising him because of his Down's syndrome. He has lived in Twickenham, London, since his arrival and was looked after by his parents and is now being looked after by his brother. He cannot cook and needs help with washing and dressing himself. His life would be in danger on two counts: firstly he will not be able to look after himself and secondly from violence. Without a hospital for the whole of Bedford and its surrounding area lives will be lost! Milton Keynes is our nearest hospital already overstretched because of the growth of Milton Keynes. It is totally unacceptable to leave the County town of Bedford without a hospital. People will die as a direct result.
