This station is on the mainline route from Swansea/Cardiff to Manchester and Holyhead, and serves a huge area of Monmouthshire and South Powys, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains as well as the town of Abergavenny. There are 2 ways to reach the far platform at Abergavenny. One is by a steep footbridge which has 45 steps and is difficult to negotiate, especially in bad weather. The other is to cross the line, accompanied by a member of staff. If you wish to do the latter, then you are expected to phone to notify your request to travel at least 24 hours beforehand. If you wish to travel out of office hours, there will be no members of staff at the station and you are dependent on the guard or the driver of the arriving train to accompany you across the line. So much for spontaneity of travel for many people! We want a bridge with passenger lifts to give full access for disabled passengers, older people and those with heavy luggage. 30% of the population in Monmouthshire is over 60. We were granted the money and planning permission for the bridge about 5 years ago. It never happened because Network Rail could not work out what to do about the position of the signal because the driver’s view of it would be blocked by the new bridge. We demand that Network Rail solve this problem, find the resources and, either replace or resite the signal in order that work on a bridge and lifts can commence. This is not just important to local people; Abergavenny station is used by visitors to major events such as The Food Festival and the Green Man Festival, the Hay Festival, and the 2016 National Eisteddfod. All these events bring visitors and revenue into the area. If you believe, like the organisers of this petition, that this situation is not good enough and that there should be equal access for all at the station, please sign this petition.

Since the reconfiguration of the A647 Leeds/Bradford Road there has been an increase in reports of very dangerous driving. Drivers regularly speed up and down the length of the road from Bradford to Leeds and back again, turning at the roundabout at Dawson's Corner. Drivers also regularly jump the pedestrian lights outside the Woodhall post office and there has been several near misses involving local residents including children and babies in prams. The police have been informed on some occasions when we have been able to get car registration numbers, however traffic calming measures are desperately needed before someone gets killed or severely injured.

Although many people prefer to walk the mile long byway others are unable to, disabled access to this public amenity must be re instated. Others affected include families with young children, fishermen, climbers, canoeists, in fact as there is no public parking on the road just about anyone who would like to visit.

Annet House is a stunning Georgian town dwelling and garden on Linlithgow High Street. Known as the rigg, the gardens would have been used to provide the everyday necessities for the family living in Annet House. The rigg today is maintained in a way that incorporates the species and varieties of plants that would have been growing in Victorian times. Spread over four levels the rigg also has a maze and Linlithgow's only known ice house. In a matter of weeks West Lothian Council will relocate the artefacts to the new Partnership Building and put the house and its stunning gardens up for sale. This part of Linlithgow's heritage will be gone and lost to the people of the town forever. Let's save this valuable resource for generations to come!

This is important because it is a growing issue in the local area and needs to be recognised. Every week there are more homeless people on the streets in the cold and rain with no where to go. This has a huge impact on their mental health, general health. This shelter would give homeless people a place to sleep for the night out of the harsh winter weather.

Our Library opening hours have been reduced on Glyntaff Campus due to cutbacks within university. Originally the cutback was set for Trefforest campus but they set up a petition and as a result the shortfall has been implemented at Glyntaff

The park was once a beautiful spot but it is in danger of becoming a silty swamp. The more run-down it gets, the worse people treat it, despite the efforts of the community and supporters within the SDC. Paths aren't repaired, which has rendered one part of the park inaccessible to lesser abled people and dead and dying trees, overhang the lakes. Leaves are not cleared up, apart from by the local community, which causes flooding onto the paths in autumn and winter and stops locals using the amenities. The park is a space that should be restored for all to enjoy, not left to decay.

Degus are social animals and need to live with company. They do better in groups they are familiar with as they can be difficult to introduce to other groups. Degus who live alone are at risk of depression even if they are lucky enough to receive lots of attention from humans. In certain cases, it can be impossible to integrate a single degu into another group, and leaving a lone degu behind from its companions can mean a lifetime of loneliness. While there are adoption schemes, many lone degus who enter such schemes are degus that were left behind and who were not sold with their group companions. We ask that Pets at Home ban their practice of allowing single degus to be left behind.

It is important because medical staff can't always change tickets on time and are being unfairly fined by indigo. The patients are also being targeted for being ill and may have to be admitted at Short notice.

This is important because disabled children have a right to education .However parents are having to give up their jobs to take their children to the closest suitable facility which is often a long distance away because our children are very vulnerable and cant just catch a bus .Many parents can only work part time due to the extra demands of a disabled chid and are exhausted. we must make the government back track on this new legislation .
