Dialysis is an essential treatment that keeps Renal patients alive, it is not a cure. We cannot decide whether to miss a session due to lack of funds but that is what we are being forced to do

We need Linaker as it stands, the same building, all day every day access and the same friendly staff! Southport children centre's saves lives! Anybody can become vulnerable at any time in their life, childrens centres, family support workers and other professionals based at centres like Linaker are nothing less than real life superheroes! The community, the children, the parents and the professionals ALL need the local childrens centres! Stop tradgey happening and help save our local childrens centres!

The number of Pie & Mash shops in London has fallen from 57 to 27 in the past 20 years, making way for an endless array of throwaway coffee chains and flavour of the day, pop-up posh grub, whatever's the rage! This often family-run tradition dates back to the 1840's, offering Londoners an affordable, hearty meal in a warm and familiar, community driven environment, something London desperately needs now more than ever. We are requesting that Leicestershire County Council make changes to their street lighting policy to keep our street lights on throughout the night. Everyday, after midnight, our streets are plunged into darkness. This has increased the incidence of crime including house and car burglaries within the area. As residents of Oadby Grange, we feel that switching certain street lights off after midnight, results in extremely vulnerable areas that are targeted as they are totally unlit. In addition to the actual increase in break ins, the part-lighting scheme, also poses a huge risk to the well-being and safety of residents. With many residents being shift workers including hospital doctors, nurses, police officers etc, it places these individuals at great risk when entering their homes late at night in complete darkness especially since many of whom would be fatigued after working a long, late shift. As residents, we can supply a series of personal CCTV footage displaying such crimes, specifically in these unlit areas, to support our claim. It is not safe for us and we have had enough of living in fear! SWITCH ON OUR STREET LIGHTS!!!

The traffic on A6097 is too heavy during rush hour, and even with a 40mph speed limit, oncoming traffic is travelling too fast to stop and allow vehicles to cross the road to turn right. The lack of traffic lights at this junction creates a dangerous situation for both the vehicle trying to exit the village and any moving vehicles stopping to allow vehicles to join the A6097 towards Lowdham. The school run being the worst time of the day and with queuing traffic behind, drivers are put under pressure to take risks so they can join A6097. In addition to unnecessary danger, the extended time it also takes to exit the village is currently putting new parents off joining the school.

The speed of the traffic on this stretch of road has caused many injuries and a good number of deaths over the years making life along the road both dangerous and noisy for the residents.

Many people on part-time or zero-hours contracts have ongoing problems getting paid their full entitlement of housing benefit and end up in rent arrears. This is what happened to Clavia Chambers who was evicted by Lambeth Council last month with her two young children and is still fighting to have this decision overturned (http://housingactivists.co.uk/protest/clavias-case-shows-how-anyone-can-become-homeless ) All unemployed, disabled and low paid workers are currently being moved onto Universal Credit. The chronic delays, cuts, and mismanagement of claims in this new system is going to make this situation even worse. There has been an explosive rise in rent arrears among universal credit claimants. There is a real danger of spiralling numbers of evictions and more social cleansing in Lambeth because the council currently classifies people evicted for rent arrears as 'intentionally homeless' and refuses to rehouse them. Lambeth council should not be evicting people who fall foul of the brutal and complicated benefits system. They should be supporting tenants to appeal unjust benefit decisions and they should use their powers to make discretionary housing benefit payments to prevent people in private rented homes becoming homeless too.

Dear Sir, I was at the checkout in my local coop store. In front of me was a mother with 2 young children. She was struggling with her shopping at the same time as she was subjected to a lot of pestering from her children for sweets. I looked up and saw the panel which hid the tobacco products. The government has decided that it is of benefit to our health not to be reminded of this health hazard and, no doubt, there is a lot of research showing that removing the visual stimulus reduces the consumption. We are also told of an impending crises of obesity in children. I spoke to the mother about the nuisance of having sweets placed within such easy reach of children and at a place where she could not walk away. I also spoke to the store manager who, as a mother and grandmother herself, was very sympathetic, but explained that Cadbury is paying extra to have their products displayed in just such an area because " it makes parents buy them". Coop is proud of its ethical values. Is it not time for your organisation to take a lead and put the health before profits, to forgo a little money to help struggling parents keep sugar from their children. Our population has grown year on year due to housing development and our policing has dropped from double figure and a police station to one PC covering 52 square miles and no police station. This puts our town at risk.

This would enable new drivers to understand the benefits and vulnerabilities of being on a bicycle, improving road safety for everyone. It would also improve the skills and awareness of those adults most likely to cycle on urban roads at peak times. Thirdly, it would enable many more people to experience cycling as an adult and encourage them to see the opportunities it presents for clean, cheap and easy transport.

There are accidents here almost weekly, caused by a combination of driving without due care, speed and overtaking. It is only a matter of time before someone is critically injured or killed. Earlier this year, I saw the aftermath of one example - A medium size family hatchback, hit from the rear by a 60mph van, leaving the driver very badly bruised & shaken but had her young children been in the back, it would have been potentially fatal, as the back half of the car was rammed up to the back of the front seats! Many like me I'm sure remember the filter was created at the Arddleen junction following an horrific tragedy - Please don't wait for this to be the reason for this one...
