The compensation that is deserved, should not be paid by the tax payer.

People have had their lives ruined, been forced to take their own lives, suffered immeasurable pain and suffering, particularly mentally. This has taken too long to be resolved and it must happen NOW.

It is vitally important that the recompense they are owed is obtained for the sub-postmasters who have been unjustifiably made to undergo this ordeal through no fault of their own. They have suffered injustice firstly at the hands of The Post Office, and then at the hands of the legal system by being found guilty of fraud and/or theft, and finally by not having been adequately compensated for any of that. Nor does that take any account of the unspeakable financial and personal effect any of that has had upon their lives, much if not all of which is ongoing. Money clearly will not and cannot compensate for all that they have lost, but they must be given what they are owed.

This is ruining lives , not only do these companies manage to get your bank details but they also manage to allow people to spend thousands without any proper checks

The biggest miscarriage of justice the UK has seen would have been buried by the post office management and many more lives would have been ruined if not for the work of Mr Bates .

Because people who cannot afford to buy a house or flat need somewhere to live and by distorting the laws of supply and demand you increase the costs of doing so unfairly for both landlord and tenant.

Because all parties who contributed to the Post Office scandal must be held to account. Justice must be seen to be done to prevent scandals like occurring in the future.

So the postmaster get what they deserve

We are in a cost of living crisis, and nearly everybody is struggling, and students are no exception to this. I have had to personally miss out on many opportunities because of the high price of travel, and it risks derailing my entire future plans if nothing is done about it.
