Now our government has decided to stop funding UNWRA who provide much needed aid. Many more will die as a result of this decision. National Express decided to scrape the 46 bus route and although Hamstead Road is served with the No 16 and 16a, there is no bus service coming up Old Walsall Road to Scott Arms or vice versa a bus coming back to Hamstead Village. There is a small bus that runs every hour, but where it comes from or goes to I have no idea. This means that people living on the Old Walsall Road, of which many are middle aged have little choice in where they can travel. The majority of medical centres are situated via Scott's Arms and Hamstead train station is situated in Hamstead village. Old Walsall Road ha the boundary for Birmingham and Sandwell up the centre of the road. I strongly feel this service needs to be reinstated to serve people who straggle the border.
