Because it's a village pub we are a close knit village young and old a like this would tear the heart from the village. We have two lady ladies as present who have made a fantastic change in such a short time. Greene King have sold the lease behind everyone's back after they promised it would remain a proper pub as its a prime site we already have one Chinese restaurant the last thing we need is a Thai less than 100 yards d own the road.

LG, like any other corporation should be aware of the conditions their products are made. They should take responsibility and treat them like humans. They are, like many other, using human lives like cannon fodder for their shareholders. It is time we make them know that we care about how our products are made. People intending to travel to Nigeria from the UK should be treated like any other passenger intending to purchase a ticket to travel to any other part of the world! This policy is bordering on racism! I am wanted to purchase a ticket to Lagos for myself and my 11 year old autistic son! The Virgin Atlantic agent was very happy to take payment for me but not my son! I was told 'we can't take a third party payment especially for that route because of fraud'! It was shocking to hear this. I was given a Nigerian website to go and make a payment. The website (Global payment .com.ng) would not accept my card and my card issuer have confirmed that there are no problems with my card. Virgin Atlantic was informed of my plight but they still insist that I either pay through that website or specially travel over 50 miles to either Gatwick or Heathrow airport in a maximum of two days to make this payment directly to them over their counter! This is definitely an injustice to people who have ties to Nigeria and who intend to travel there and want to pay for their families. Lagos and Abuja are the most profitable routes for Virgin Atlantic and they are treating people from particular parts of the world in a contentious manner! Nigerians normally take things in their stride and not complain but it's time people stood up to corporate entities like Virgin Atlantic and let them be aware of the fact that they can't make contentious policies like this and get away with it!

Thousands of tonnes of food is wasted every year by Tesco. Recently, however, the supermarket chain has expanded a scheme to donate all edible food to charity to 10 of its stores in the UK. This is a step in the right direction but it is still not enough. Everyday people in the UK are forced into food poverty; more and more people are becoming homeless and dependency on food banks is growing. It is disgusting that people must rely on food banks, but it is even more disgusting that perfectly good food is being wasted when there is such a need for it.

I have recently been the victim of an Incoming Premium Rate Text Message scam. Fortunately TalkTalk, my Mobile Phone Provider eMailed me to warn me I had gone over my monthly allowance, and this is how I learned that I was being charged £4.50 for each one of these messages I had received. I had not knowingly subscribed to this. After doing some research I found that this scam is by no means an uncommon incident & is growing all the time. It even seems to have an authority (PhonePayPlus) which is supposed to monitor it. This, in itself, is ridiculous. It is clearly a way of making money under false pretences. All Premium Rate Text Messages are a rip off, but at least when making outgoing ones at least the customer is making the concious decision to throw their money away. These, however, are INCOMING. Most of all I was amazed to learn that this way of covertly taking money by deception is actually legal. This, to anyone with any sense of common decency can see this to be morally outrageous. Incoming Premium Rate Text Messages are theft, plain and simple, making use of some loophole in the law, targeting the most vulnerable. This loophole needs closing.

Combined with The Corporations accounting fraud & their failure to pay taxes, the UK Economy has been left heavily in debt. We should not silently put up with this illegal behavior by Criminal Banks. Sky sports are ruining the beautiful game for the sake of money. Empty grounds, dwindling support and being limited to short highlights on terrestrial television is slowly undermining a great British tradition. We urge Helen Grant to step in and see to it that all sports of "National interests" be given to the masses and not just those who can afford to pay Sky Sports extortionate monthly charges.

Toxins in the soil and water supply as a consequence to profiteering companies is irresponsible. Exporting old fridges and computers is equally irresponsible. Even the plastic bag comes under review. The world's resources are limited, why needlessly pollute the world?

With so much food wasted/unsold and then destroyed or made unfit for consumption by being covered in bleach etc. why not give it to food banks & charities to feed those who have been left in a position that they are unable to feed themselves. Too many companies commit fraud or theft, create pollution or corruption or sell produce based on lies. They get away with it constantly. Hiding behind a trick of the paperwork to never be held accountable as individuals because we treat companies themselves with the rights of an individual in court. This means, usually, a company can be punished for breaking the law but individuals cannot. THIS IS IMMORAL AND WRONG. Removing the Limited Liability from the company will force many of these corporates to think twice before putting profit before people

Clearly all the promises from senior management in banks that mistakes will not be repeated, that lessons have been learned, etc have been empty ones. How many more scandals must we endure? Why do we continue to reward failure among those that employ highly paid personnel by allowing them to continue to operate and fail again? Organisations breaching laws, such as those related to health & safety, can be closed down and directors held accountable: time for those who contravene legislation in the financial sector to face similar penalties.
