End Homelessness in the UK130,000 people a year in England alone are asking for help regarding homelessness (Shelter, 2017). Homelessness is a matter of social injustice not just personal responsibility, everybody in Britain has a right to accommodation, it is not just a lack of shelter, it involves a deprivation over a number of dimensions, lack of physical and mental comfort, lack of privacy, lack of rootedness in the world and a lack of purpose in life (Somerville, 2013). Even in affordable social housing there is now an uncertainty in security, resulting in an increase in rough sleepers by 102% since 2010. The reason for homelessness is simple, not enough housing, not enough social housing, the ridiculous peak in house prices and the uncertainty of short hold tenancy in private sector housing. This needs to be stopped, we need to stop allowing housing associations and landlords putting vulnerable people out on the streets. Most of us are one wage slip away from being on the streets so help us today to change the lives of thousands of people. Sign today, save tomorrow. Get rid of the 'Bedroom Tax' cut to Housing Benefits! These cuts are unfair and further disadvantage people who are in a position of need. Approximately 660,000 UK social housing residents have been impacted by the cuts (Fullfact, 2013). This has had significant negative impacts on lives across the UK, leaving thousands of people desperately struggling to pay rent and make ends meet. Hundreds of thousands of residents have gotten into rent arrears, resorted to food banks, and been kicked out of homes they have lived in their whole lives. This is drastically immoral and WRONG. Sign the petition to help us rid the unfair Bedroom Tax!46 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rachel Coates

Change the disabled logoIt is mortifying to be judged by people when you use disabled spots if your disability is not visible. There are stories of abusive notes being left on people's cars, which is a huge knock to their self confidence, which is often already low. The change of logo would symbolism a inclusive acknowledgment of all disabilities.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Barbara Sandland

Change the Day for holding elections in the UK from Thursdays to SaturdaysHundreds of primary schools are closed each year to cater for local elections. In addition, thousands are closed to cater for general elections and referendums. Other countries hold their elections on Saturdays. A recent legal precedence ruled that a parent could not remove a child from school to go on holiday, but local authorities are regularly forced to close schools to facilitate elections.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jed Hillary

Hands Off Oswestry's Council HomesPlans to sell off Oswestry's council houses were voted against ten years ago. Our attitude to this has not changed. Oswestry needs more social housing, not less. We want investment in building new homes in the right places for our community whilst protecting our heritage.112 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nikki Hughes

Make Stevenson Square car freeStevenson Square is a space that the people of Manchester could own, in a city that lacks publicly owned community spaces. It was once a space for open-air speakers, a meeting place for all and the starting point for processions and celebrations. Today we're seeing the revival of that culture with street parties, markets, cafes, bars and restaurants spilling out into the square. But it can never be the vibrant public space we need whilst cars continue to dominate it. By removing the right of cars and buses to use Hilton Street the square could be a permanent space for music events, festivals, community gardens or just people enjoying their lunches in the sun. Just look at what happened when Levelz took over the square for just a few hours as part of Record Store Day https://twitter.com/LEVELZMCR?lang=en. Pure fun.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steven Square

Support local musician John Selah busking in Edmonton North LondonEdmonton is one of the most deprived areas of the U.K. It is also perhaps the most ethnically diverse and community spirited. Since busking in Edmonton I have had children dancing, pensioners singing along, people taking videos and selfies and nothing but support, smiles and good will from everyone who has heard me playing. We have had many troubles in Edmonton....particularly gang-related murders, but people here strive to live in harmony, and amidst the struggles of their day to day living they seem to enjoy my busking more than those at Covent Garden, Piccadilly Square, the London Underground and all across the U.K. and places I have played over the globe. I generally believe that my attitude and music contributes to the joy and beauty of this very special town. I have been stabbbed, struggled through mental illness and foster care, but have been a youth worker for the twenty years I have lived in Edmonton and I merely want to give something to these wonderful people and help my own journey a little in an honest positive way.35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Selah
