• STOP PEREGRINE DRIVE BECOMING A VEHICLE THROUGH ROAD
Peregrine Drive is a narrow residential cul de sac barely passable by a two way flow of traffic. This is obviously heightened in the evenings / weekends with residents parking on pavement kerbs. Peregrine Drive will not withstand the increased traffic associated with the new Uryside School c/w recycle centre / erection of 416 Dwelling houses and 4 off Commercial Units. This petition is important to protect the wellbeing of not only the children of Peregrine Drive but all children of Uryside School.

  • Put speed bumps on merchiston road before a child gets injured
As a resident of the local area I have witnessed numerous near misses on both animals such as swans dogs and cats. As well as children. I don't want it to come down to someone being killed before something is done. Motorists during the busy periods use it as a way of overtaking congestion on the A9 using speeds in excess of 60 mph.

  • Save the Number 27 bus
National Express have made plans to stop the 27 bus. It goes around Birmingham to places that don’t have public transport otherwise. Many residents in Stirchley and Bournville would be out public transport which they use in their daily lives. This would affect elderly people who use it to get into town and shopping centres, as well as children who use the bus to get to and from school. The National Express have launched a public consultation. If as many of us sign the petition as possible, we can show them how vital the 27 is to so many people.

  • Support with north Lanarkshire for children with additional needs
I feel this is important as my son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum 3 years ago. Since then I have had little to no support. It has been a battle from the start to get any support within school which he now has some but not all the support he needs. There is no club or group I can take him to within my area and I feel he is being social isolated even more. There is no drop in session where I can go for advice or support when I need. Where it is advice on handle his behaviour or on school matter or even help filling out forms. After being involved in some online support groups I have learned I am not allow in feeling like this and now parents r starting to cum together to fight for a better future for our children. We want to raise strong independent adults who will have a service that will support them. We r not asking for anything that other local authorities dnt already do. So please share and sign the petition so we can have a better future for our children.

  • Speed Humps and Working Speed Cameras
This is a family built up area. With a school situated along the road. Lots of local shops children and elderly live along here. Home owners are to scared to park outside their homes and are forced to park on the local pub situated down the road. I myself have a young baby and this is unfair I have to lug all the bags and carry my child down the street because of careless people

  • BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL 47 BUS ROUTE
Because it allows transport to and from rural areas into the city center for those who perhaps have no other means of transport. This is an important issue due to the fact that many school children who lived slightly out of catchment areas used this bus service to travel to and from school; now these children are forced to be up earlier to walk to a place where they can catch one of the school provided bus services. People of an older generation who are unable to drive were able to use the old 47 service to travel to other villages or into the city, whereas now they have no other way of doing so without in some cases needing to pay taxi fares or relying on friends or relatives who drive. In particular I find it rather disgusting that the Nottingham City Transport did not advertise the cuts to the 47 services enough - because my daughter who at the time was just 15 years old, got on the 47 bus from Lambley to go to a friends in Calverton was told to get off of the bus in Woodborough because this was where the route terminated now. My daughter was left stranded and was forced to get a taxi instead. Overall this is an important matter because the points previously made.

  • Bring back the X31 bus service to Hemel Hempstead/Luton
Because it is a great inconvenience to the local people, I myself, can no longer get to school anymore. Other people have had to leave their jobs because they have no other way of getting into work. It is a disgrace that they can afford a water park in the local area (worth 1.1 million pounds!) But not to fund a crucial service!

  • Speed cameras for Warley Road, Halifax
There is a danger to life. It is not safe to cross as cars often drive round islands to get past. Learner drivers are targeted and as there is a park entrance there are lots of young children about. There have been many reports to Council and Police that justify extra measures but these are largely not producing a response. Local residents have supplied video, photographic and first hand accounts of the driving that is illegal and highly dangerous. There are 20 signs on this road but speeds are often in excess of 60 miles and hour. There have been reports of eye witness and CCTV footage from businesses nearby that has shown near misses and the scale of the problem.
