Parking Restrictions at Thornes Park, WakefieldMany users of the Thornes Park Athletics Stadium and the park itself, regularly need more than 3 hours parking. Both Gymnastics and Bowling sessions run for 3 hours or more, changing and set up time has not been factored in, athletics meets sometimes last all day. The Council is supposed to be encouraging people to have healthy lifestyles and should not put obstacles in their way.136 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nic Stansby

Oyster 60+ and Freedom PassesUnder current eligibility criteria you must currently live in a designated London borough in order to apply. This excludes thousands of older people who live in the outskirts of London and use TFL services in their local area, simply because they do not currently live in a designated London borough. As someone who was born in London and has lived in London for over 40 years and now living a few hundred metres the wrong side of the "border", I find this particularly unjust.26 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christopher Ryan

Change the crossing near Bitterne Station (Southampton) to make it safe for pedestrians & cyclists. It takes 7 mins to cross as a pedestrian with the lights, so people take risks running across. There's no safe cycle route, but it could be much safer with a few dropped kerbs and some paint. It is monstrous that the proposed Highways England scheme does not take this into account. We need a regular combined pedestrian/cyclist phase over this dangerous junction. Also, eg: - pavement alteration for bikes by derelict hairdresser and opposite for bikes. - crossing point is needed from station across to Athelstan Rd - over just Bitterne Rd West instead of multiple crossings. - traffic calming needed by the concrete blocks on Bullar Rd, as the crossing is often ignored by vehicles. Keep Diesel Pollution Out Of The Ely ValleyThe proposed road will force over 400 village school children and residents in the valley to breathe polluting, health harming, diesel freight traffic fumes. It would bring deadly traffic pollution and noise from freight vehicles into an environmentally sensitive valley that houses two primary schools. The list of long term effects of air pollution on children and the elderly is growing almost daily. Wales has a Future Generations Act designed to ensure we consider the needs of future generations, but this road, aimed at servicing the loss making Cardiff Airport which is actually owned by the Welsh Assembly Government, means the future health of Ely Valley school children and residents appears to have been abandoned. The Welsh Assembly Government is planning on spending £100+ million of taxpayers money on this road that will service their own business. The children affected by these plans have no voice. We must speak for them.501 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Glynis Lloyd

Keep the Guard On the TrainThis is a safety critical job, meaning that more customers will feel safe on the railways. Current disputes are going on for no obvious reason, disrupting millions of commuters every week. Have a look at some of the RMT's stories on Facebook and Twitter and see some of the reasons we need to keep our guards.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matthew Davies

Delivery cyclists and lights on bicyclesThey would not allow motorcyclists/ scooter riders to work without obeying traffic laws so why do they allow their cyclists to flaunt the law.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bob Jenkins

Support low pollution road transport fuelWe need to have good alternatives to high polluting fossil fuels. An effective & proven way to support alternative fuels is by lower taxation as we already have with LPG/CNG. Promote cleaner transport fuels that can be used in existing vehicles to dramatically lower pollution by up to 80% per vehicle. Action, not words are needed !5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Fraser Davies

Removing natural defences (from the sound of the railway to natural flood defences) will have an impact on the homes in and around the planned tree felling area136 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Zoe Wilson

Ban smoking when drivingIt is dangerous to smoke whilst driving, as it not only endangers the driver, but other road users. Currently, the law outlaws smoking if the vehicle is a work vehicle, as it is an extension of the workplace, but this does not go far enough and ban drivers from smoking in their own vehicles too.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dave Reardon

SAVE OUR SOUTH YORKS BUSESSouth Yorkshire traffic is in crisis: we need a better bus service to encourage people out of their cars. Too much traveller time is wasted in traffic queues. Nitrogen dioxide and particulates in vehicle emissions cause asthma, heart disease, Alzheimer's and early death.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by roy morris
