Save our Disabled Children's TransportCoventry Council are making the families of disabled children pay £600 a year for transport to and from school. This service used to be free, but now families are being forced to fork out. The wellbeing and education of disabled children is being put at risk. Disabled children should not be punished for going to school.2,229 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Mandy Siddiqui

Stop Furness Park Closures. The council announced plans at the start of September to close 5 local parks in an attempt to save £13,247. These park closures are at the expense of our whole community. It is difficult enough for children to find safe areas to play without removing the places built for that exact purpose. It is so important that we don't let the council destroy our local play areas, depriving children of the chance to socialise and mingle with others; to let off some steam, to keep fit and active. Please sign this petition to show support for keeping the Furness area's public parks open! (Information sources from Reece Hanson's article in Wednesday the 6th of September's issue of The Evening Mail).861 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Jamie-Leigh Currie

Make Boness Road Safe for our community1. On completion of the new Queensferry Crossing this road became a main thoroughfare into and out of South Queensferry 2. Both Transport Scotland and Edinburgh Council have failed to recognise this and failed to put measures in place to ensure road safety for the community. 3. It has Echline Primary School on it. Children cross the road to get to and from school and also cross after school for clubs and recreation. Echline has an open playground policy so children also cross at evenings and weekends to play, visit friends in the adjacent housing estates and to use Echline playpark. 4. The road currently has a 30mph limit, except for a small 20mph zone outside the school, which operates only at drop off and pick up times. Edinburgh Council chose not to implement the new 20mph safe zone along this road and will not review their decision until some time in 2018. 5. The road is wide with inadequate speed limit signage 6. The road will see increased volumes of traffic 7. Large vehicles will use the road; coach tours, double decker buses and lorries 8. Vehicles will have been travelling at speed on the motorway system prior to entering this residential area495 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Steve Martin

Find us a place to park our bus so we can end the need for rough sleeping in DorsetWe are a registered charity. We have converted a bus to accomodate rough sleepers in Weymouth. We have fundraised ourselves and will continue to do so to ensure the running of the bus. We have skilled, experienced and trained volunteers to run the bus. We have the support of the Police and many other local outreach and recovery services. All we need is somewhere to park! Weymouth and Portland borough Council have been unwilling to support us in finding a suitable location through Management committee, so we are presenting it to Full Council. Stop Idling for Cleaner Air in Brighton & HoveIdling cars are a major contributor to air pollution in our city. Hotspots in the city such as Queens Road, Western Road and Rottingdean High Street regularly exceed both UK and EU limits for nitrogen dioxide (NO2). NO2 is a toxic gas that causes health problems such as asthma, bronchitis and lung cancer and contributes to 6% of all annual deaths in Brighton & Hove. If this petition reaches 1250 signatures the issue will be debated by the full Brighton & Hove City Council. Please sign this petition for cleaner air in our city.553 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Marianna Ebel

Protect the existing Green Belt within Dudley Metropolitan Borough1) To protect Green Belt Countryside, on the urban fringe, and Green Wedges that form wildlife and open space corridors into the urban areas. 2) To protect a valuable recreational resource that Dudley Council have hitherto promoted for public pleasure; its landscape, historic, nature conservation and cultural values. 3) To protect the individuality and distinctive character of the areas and communities 4) To further the strategy of urban regeneration by focussing attention upon renewal of derelict and previously developed brownfield sites. 5) Dudley Borough has sufficient land within the urban area to satisfy its housing and industrial requirements to the year 2036 and beyond. 6) The Green Wedges satisfy the function of preventing the coalescence of former Towns within the Borough. 7) Exceptional circumstances do not exist to warrant the release of Green Belt land for built development. 8) The inappropriate release of Green Belt land would damage the confidence of the public in respect of the designation of Green Belt.4,320 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by Mick Freer

Plastic recyclingRecycling plastic in particular is becoming a nightmare having to scrutinise every package before disposal. Most supermarket packaging has a degree of recyclability, but for example, the plastic tray containing meat can be recycled but the covering film cannot. Likewise, not all plastic canisters trays or other containers are recyclable. It should become compulsory for retailers to sell goods only in matierials that do not have to go to landfill.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bill Broadway
