There is more to the economy of the UK than food and drink. The 50% discount scheme will not stimulate enough of the economy to save thousands of small and medium businesses. Giving people money to spend on their High Streets in local businesses will give more hope to more businesses.

We need to encourage and support the demand for recycled materials, and thus reduce the use of virgin materials.

Workers in clothing factories in the UK are being exposed to unsafe working conditions, and wages as low as £3 an hour. It is illegal to earn less than minimum wage in the UK - and we have laws and workers’ rights in place that should protect all of us at work. But right now they are not properly enforced - which means workers are put at risk. This needs to change. If the government commits to improving the enforcement of UK labour laws, we can set a level playing field that ensures decent jobs, safe conditions and fair wages for everyone. NHS staff have worked tirelessly through this epidemic to treat Covid patients and to keep other NHS services going. Some charges are the cost of a monthly utility bill for a lot of staff who are on low to moderate incomes. It's unjust. Its especially needed as this government has indicated there will be no pay increase for the NHS. We need to value these staff or we will loose them. Its no good Ministers clapping for the NHS and then being hypercritcal in the next breath. Words are cheap.

The use of Stop and Search by police against Black people in Dorset has reached unprecedented levels. Black people are now 31 times more likely than white people to be stopped under these powers. This is the highest rate of Stop and Search of an ethnic group of any police force in the country. It is also a 100 per cent increase in Dorset over the past two years.

The government stopped charging NHS staff parking fees during the height of the pandemic. Now they're saying ‘it can’t go on forever’. We need a firm commitment to make absolutely sure our NHS staff won’t be charged as much as £40 a day on parking fees. Our NHS staff - who have sacrificed so much over the last few months - deserve better. So, let's send a clear message to Boris Johnson: you cannot charge our NHS staff for parking.

It goes to show that institutional racism is alive and well, yes these people have unfortunately been involved in criminal actions but they have already served their prison terms for their crimes there is no real reason to send these people back to countries they have never been to and that they have no actual connection other than their family origins which they unfortunately lost as they were orphaned whilst in the UK, they should have had British citizenship on birth tbh or at least sorted out by care system

Because being disabled like myself I have experienced driving my chair down a pavement that was too high a dip. And I have seen other people who are disabled have problems with pavements. I want them more accessible.

Hi Folks, hope your safe and well. My daughter is a carer in an old folks home in Edinburgh. Prior to the pandemic she was classed a low paid low skilled worker now she finds she's a high skilled low paid worker. The care home manager is extremely competent in all staff have temperature checks on arrival, showers and regular testing at a covid station, there has been no cases of any staff or residents being infected. Now we are being told that testing employees is taxable because it's a PERK so you get taxed on every test that the employer pays for. The Health & Safety at Work Act states that all employers have a duty of care to all employees , this means in my eyes this is part of your working conditions and must be paid for by there employers or the government.

The close proximity of the prison community means they are at high risk of virus transmission. They are contained in an area where they have access to medical resources. Tracking via testing and containing the spread of the virus especially in the community, is imperative. This would be an effective way to help towards protecting the community themselves, public sector workers and the general public.
