• BBC drama 'Three Girls' to be shown as a education tool in secondary schools.
We need to ensure our children are educated about this difficult and sensitive subject matter. This is not a topic that would normally be discussed at home. This needs to be changed and stamped out of our society. The only way is to educate our children. Make them aware that this is not acceptable behaviour and what pitfalls to look out for. To advise them of the options that are available to them.

  • Make Binders Readily Available on the NHS
The trans community have suffered a lot over generations, and one of the issues is the price and accessibility of binders. Binders are usually sourced online at a high price rate because of the shipping and manufacturing, as well as most of them being made in America. This makes it significantly difficult for working class or unemployed trans men to find a cheaper alternative for their wellbeing. Binders are sold on Amazon and Ebay at lower prices, however in my experience, they are not very reliable and well made. I believe that as a gender non-conforming individual who uses binders myself, we should not have to pay for something that helps us feel more comfortable and helps with d***horia. Waiting lists for surgery for the trans community is very long and can take up to a certain amount of years. Surely, there should be a free service that helps until the surgery is finalised. Some trans people choose not to have surgery and that is completely their choice, but they should have access to good quality, free binders on the NHS that they can use everyday and feel themselves. If they can fund sexual health, then they can fund mental health. I believe that giving this opportunity to the trans and non-binary community will promote intersectionality, benefit mental health, and may even save lives.

  • Protect green space in Luton
Luton is a small borough with a large population and one of the youngest populations in England --there needs to be a good amount of green open space for the enjoyment of all the residents in Luton. A large park (Wigmore Valley Park) is currently under threat of industrial development because it is close to Luton Airport. Luton currently has less than 50% of the recognized green open space for a town of its size and population.

  • Save children's play area
It was left as a designated children's play area in the 1960's for the children of the estate. This would leave the children without any play area or green space on the whole estate.

  • The People request a Live TV Debate between the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition
The public deserve the opportunity to hear the leaders of our two major parties debate the issues that affect all of our lives leading up to the 2017 General Election. Both leaders cannot possibly speak to every person in the U.K. in the time remaining before the vote, so by participating in a live tv debate, they can afford the people of the United Kingdom the opportunity to make an informed decision. A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly. At this General Election, the people of the United Kingdom must choose a representative with the vision and the personal resources to navigate us all through a complex period in our history. Holding a public debate on issues that concern society will give the public clarity and confidence in their vote, and will allow for the creation of a transparent and accountable administration, after June 8th.

  • Make it compulsary for dog poop bags to be biodegradable
Some dog owners collect the dogs poop in a bag and dispose of inappropriately which unpleasent and is worst than not picking up the poop as the bag will remain for decades. Biodegradabale bags would be better for the enviroment if disposed of correctly or incorrectly.

  • Darlington Memorial Hospital Donor Milk Bank
Darlington Memorial Hospital have started looking into opening up a milk bank - which is great news! This would be the first and only milk bank in the North East of England and it would be a wonderful resource for all the mums who cannot breastfeed but do not wish to use formula milk. The idea of setting it up has not been approved yet as it requires time. However, whilst the hospital carry out any necessary assessments, it's important that they hear from all kinds of people in the area who support this idea. I've recently had my 6 month old daughter: as I wasn't making enough milk for her and obtaining donor milk wasn't an option, I had no choice but to use formula milk. I'm not on my own though. Many other mums, especially those with premature babies, also wish they could access donor milk. Donating milk is safe as it involves procedures such as donor screening, a series of tests, pasteurising the milk, etc.

  • Keep Walden School as a school for local children
It is important that Walden School is not taken over by developers for more housing or converted into flats. Saffron Walden is in dire need of additional state school facilities. The primary schools and Saffron High are already full and cannot meet the needs of this growing town. The council has continually been asked to consider how it will meet the schooling needs of all the families moving into the area, now an opportunity has arisen, and sad as it is to see Walden School close, the council has a responsibility to ensure that the towns schooling needs are met. It is the perfect solution to an ongoing problem. The Department for Education needs to act quickly. There is an opportunity here for the school to be taken over and run as a state school, perhaps even preventing job losses. For Walden School to close after so many years in the town is a huge shock to everyone. That the site not continue as a school would be a far greater tragedy.

  • Changing cannabis laws
Cannabis has been proven to have huge medicinal benefits, for lots of chronic and terminal conditions. The health benefits should out weigh the draconian laws on the Isle of Man. Jersey are doing it, so we don't need permission from the UK. Like they have said we do. Please sign and lets not only try to change for medicinal purposes but for possession, the amount of money saved through prison, legal fee's police time, money and resources.
