So that our young LGBTQ+ community do not grow up feeling ashamed or frightened about who they are

People are dying in Ukraine! The exodus of so many, with little food and accommodation and an uncertain future, is made worse by so few having been inoculated against Covid. As a result the risks are increasing by the day. Refusing to keep the promise of access to the supposed 200,000 refugees the UK has agreed to take, making such difficulties allowing people escaping the war into the UK is only going to make matters worse. Having been caught blatantly misleading The House, it is time for the Prime Minister to step in and take control to ensure the Government, on behalf of the British people, keep our promise.

We all echo the same thoughts and together we can make a stand

There are over 2 million who have fled from Ukraine due to the wat. Many have fled to European Countries, many times f whom are poor. Poland has taken over 1 million and passed a law stating they can work. UK have taken relatively very few. The system of bureaucracy is unnecessarily complicated and after all they have been through many are being turned away. We must call on the Government to act and act now to ease the suffering of these refugees and the unfair burden on our European neighbours.

We need to clean up our planet before it is too late. Our seas, rivers, landfill sites and overseas forests are full of our waste plastic. If we keep manufacturing more new plastic this problem will continue to grow. At what point do we look at it and say " STOP, THIS IS ENOUGH NOW!"? If we stop the manufacturing of new plastic, and only utilise what we already have (115 years of plastic manufacturing!), we can encourage recycling and the reclamation of the plastic already dumped. We don't want to be without plastic, it has many uses. But we do not need more of it polluting our world. Lets reclaim and reuse that which we already have.

To save the planet from fossil fuels

Why should employees that drive as part of their daily job absorb the rising cost of fuel. The government should increase the mileage allowance payment of 45p. Why should carers, social workers, health visitors, district nurses absorb this rising cost. Sign the petition for change.

In 2019 Berlin’s parliament approved a bill to make international women’s day, observed annually on the 8th of March, a public holiday. If the U.K. would join suit, it would be following 27 other countries around the world. The U.K. is behind the rest of Europe on the number of public holidays it has. The EU average is 12.8 days, which is almost 5 days more than UK workers get, so this seems like the ideal opportunity to add another one to the calendar.

As everyone knows, the whole country was under lockdown while Johnson and his cronies were having parties in Downing Street. Parents were unable to see there children. In many instances dying relatives died alone with no relatives allowed to be present. Given these circumstances it would be an outrage for Boris Johnson and his cronies to get off scott-free just because the Met Police cannot be bothering to enforce the law of the land.

This helps to increase our renewable energy sources and decrease reliance on fossil fuels

Public transport can get way too packed and dangerous. It's also better for the environment.

The current ban unfairly discriminates against skateboarders. The ban was poorly thought out in order to fix an issue that didn't and doesn't exist. Furthermore the signage for the ban - which is in two very small locations within the town centre - has been placed incorrectly all over the town, effectively banning the hobby from the entire town. Skateboarding is an eviromently friendly means of transport and has recently become an Olympic sport. The ban is unfair and needs to be lifted
