I'm sick of not being able to see or hear my favourite artists and shows because I'm sat all the way at the back of the venue. And more often than not, there are no accessible areas anyway/they're all full because the venue only has 2-4 specific areas. I believe this should change.

I always tell my friends about the possible dangers of farming and eating these poor suffering creatures - as well as the damage the chemicals used make the the environment. It is horrifying to see half eaten salmon in the cages with sores and chunks missing.

We are seeking support from anyone concerned with the scale of pump storage hydro developments in Loch Ness. Loch Ness is the most famous loch in the world and is an iconic tourist destination. It's beautiful setting, legendary monster and rich biodiversity are at risk from these developments. The list of unknown potential side-effects of pump storage hydro on large lochs is extensive. For example, no research has been done on the impact of pump storage hydro on juvenile wild salmon as they migrate downstream through these lochs, and we think that pumping water on this huge scale will ultimately raise the famously cool temperatures of Loch Ness. The cumulative impact of consenting so many pump storage hydro schemes in one loch are totally unknown and none of the developers seem willing to commit to researching these fundamental questions. The sight of dolphins feeding on wild Atlantic salmon, within metres of the shore, at Chanonry Point is the greatest wildlife spectacle in the Highlands. This hugely popular tourist destination is at risk if wild Atlantic salmon continue to decline.

We all know the importance of the post office. Like the local shop it’s a meeting place for many to converse and connect.

New laws are being developed that are meant to give renters in England better rights, but they only protect renters for SIX MONTHS before a landlord can decide to sell their house or move in, and if that happens, renters will only be given a measly eight weeks to find a new home. We all deserve to be secure in our homes, and at a time when the number of rental homes are at an all-time low, this isn’t good enough. [1] The Government originally said that renters should be given two years of protection, but have since backtracked. [2] This means that despite claiming that “no-fault” evictions will be abolished, landlords will still be able to throw renters out of their home if they decide to sell up or move in themselves. [3] These laws are being debated right now, so if enough of us come together to demand stronger protections from eviction, they’ll be forced to listen. Right now, many landlords discriminate against renters with pets - making it near impossible for people with pets to find a home. Thousands of people in the private rental sector are being left with a stark choice: give up their beloved pets, or risk being made homeless. The Government is beginning to develop new laws to make it easier for renters with pets to find a home - but these have been massively delayed, and it doesn’t help renters like me who are struggling right now. The law needs to change immediately to prevent the heartbreak of thousands of renters having to give up their pets at the whim of landlords. If enough of us sign the petition, we’ll send a clear message to Michael Gove and the Government demanding that renters must NOT be forced to abandon their pets because landlords don’t feel like letting us keep them.

The impact We are deeply concerned at the impact of this proposal on our area eg gridlocked traffic, unbearable noise levels much of the day and evening, and the likely impact from drunk revellers.

Statistics show that on average every 20 minutes a parent dies in the UK; this leaving 46,300 children in the UK bereaved of a parent before the age of 18. This will allow children to feel comfortable settling back into school after suffering a loss of a loved one. Teachers to be trained to support the grieving child so they can slowly adjust back into the education system. Many children do not get the support that they need during this time of their lives which could lead onto more problems later in life; a study in the UK showed that 41% of Young Offenders had experienced a bereavement. They are a part of the 78% of 11 - 16 year olds that have been bereaved of a close relative or friend.
