Resale of Tickets of an Event should only be at Face-Value plus a maximum of 10%Consumers are unable to purchase tickets at a reasonable price because Ticket Touts are profiteering by bulk buying tickets at Face-Value and selling at many many times that price.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Megan Clark

Say no to 'Wonder woman' as the UN ambassador for womenHOW can the UN think an imaginary , scantily clad , very well endowed ( Barbie doll - statistics) comic book cartoon represents women of the world and 'empowers' them? She is a 'sex symbol ' and will only serve to promote women as sex objects in countries that already veer that way! Are they serious? Yes I get that they need a 'modern ' symbol - but 'Wonder Woman' was out of the 70's (or maybe it is more to do with a new 'Wonder Woman 'film being released in 2017 )??? But would you choose Charlie 's Angels? or Baywatch babes ? what about Bridget Jones ? Or a whole raft of similar females ? Pretty much every REAL woman I have ever met is a better role model for women, for encouraging our girls to be all they can be. Are there no real modern women across the whole world who could not be the UN's ambassador for women ? really ? We deserve better164 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Debbie Veel

NHS privatisation MPs & LordsTo much privatisation is happening to the NHS .. 70 MPs and 140 Lords have some sort of investment or involvement with private healthcare companies that we know of ..I believe that giving them a vote on NHS issues brings to mind a conflict of interest21 of 100 SignaturesCreated by john beardsmore

Funding for essential hospice careOver the past year I have witnessed first hand the devastating effect that cancer has on anybody affected, not only on the patient but also on family and friends. In the last few days of my dad's precious life, the care he received from the angels at Manorlands Hospice was second to none. This care also extends to family and friends who are affected, and is proving to a necessity as the numbers of people affected by this cruel disease continues to rise. I find it appauling that these vital services are relying heavily on fund raising events in order to keep going. When so much money is being wasted in other areas, or worse still not collected in tax, the people who suffer most are those who are already in an intolerable amount of pain. For this reason, I believe that more should be done to fund the vital services provided by hospices, both in care and in cancer research.47 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michelle Bateson

Tougher penalities for animal abuseAnimals have no voice, as it stands at the moment, animal abusers get away far too lightly. Custodial sentences need to be given out with longer terms. Anyone found guilty of abusing an animal should have a life time ban on keeping any animal.93 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Anne Richardson

Stop the press revealing identities of Calais childrenPublication of photos and personal details can risk the security of unaccompanied young people, who are known to be at a high risk of human trafficking and may be exposed to hate crime. The language used by The Sun, the Daily Star, the Daily Mail and the Daily Express to describe these young people arriving from the 'jungle' camp in Calais is incendiary and inhumane. The deliberate questioning of age, without due care to safety or lawful processes, has the very real potential to expose individuals to abuse, racism and hatred whilst in the UK. International law makes it clear that anyone under the age of 18 is a child. Unaccompanied children frequently have no documents to prove their age. Some don’t even know their own chronological age. Others have had their identities faked by human traffickers. There is a duty on the UK to give those in such situations the ‘benefit of the doubt’ where there is reason to believe they may be a child. The current approach of 'trial by media' undermines these young people's right to fair and impartial assessments of their individual circumstances. It ignores well-established, legal processes that are designed to protect those most in need and undermines the validity of the laws to protect children and refugees. ECPAT UK is a leading children’s rights organisation campaigning to prevent child trafficking, transnational child abuse and child exploitation for the past 20 years. To complement our research, policy and campaigning activity, we run peer support groups for child victims of trafficking and deliver training to a broad range of professionals. Provide Catford Station with a lift serviceAs a mother of two young children, I have found myself in the position of having to carry a pram and still hold onto the other child, leaving me and the kids exposed to trips and falls. During the day the station may be quiet and there will be no individuals there to help you. This is not ideal especially if a parent has had a c-section. I have also seen many other parents struggle to navigate the steep staircase located at the station.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sharon Mills

Keep the St John's Wood Post Office openThe Crown Post Office on Circus Road serving St John’s Wood is set to shut down or be taken over by a private company. It has been identified as 1 of 42 loss-making main Crown branches in the UK. It is currently on the market as a franchise meaning a private company could take it over and run it. The Communication Workers Union (CWU) said the changes are not necessary as the Post Office is due to break even this year. It added that the move is being forced through in a bid to make a £10 million turnover by the end of 2018. CWU rep Huw Davis said: “It’s early days but it’s an outrage where we’ll see many job losses. They want to make £10m by ridding those they say are losing profits, looking at staffing costs and buildings. Somehow the St John Wood’s Post Office has become part of that. The services, whether you get them in WH Smith or in a shop is not as good as what you get from dedicated staff who have worked there for many years. I hope the public will fight against this privatisation.”541 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Paul Dimoldenberg

GP's forced to charge for appointmentsA new scheme has been launched which enables people to skip queues in GP surgeries and have an on-demand doctor visit them in their own home. Within 90 minutes. The only catch — it costs £120. The new ‘private primary care’ service, developed by GP Delivered Quick (GPDQ), involves people ‘booking’ a doctor via a smartphone app. They select a date and time for them to visit. Each consultation lasts around 25 minutes and the doctors are on call seven days a week between 8am and 11pm. But if you’re desperate to see a doctor, it’ll cost you. To book a 25-minute weekday consultation costs £120. For weekend visits, it’s £150. And for a bank holiday, £200! This immediately discriminates against those to whom 'smart phone apps' are not easily available i.e. pensioners , low earners, many disabled groups, homeless people, I'm sure you could add to the list. Equally it discriminates against the great majority of British people that would find £120 hard to find if they were too sick to work . Imagine a few quid elevating minor complaints above acute emergencies in an already stretched system - a tickly cough leaps to the head of the list above angina, feeling 'under the weather' trumps suicidal thoughts, severe headaches or abdominal pains. If you want what Theresa May promised - government that benefits all of us - please sign this petition for a health service that benefits us all without regard for wealth when ill. NHS doctors are for all of us and do a fantastic job under increasingly stressed conditions . BUPA & co are there for the wealthy. Please sign and let us keep that distinction- our lives may depend upon it.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mark Gibson

No alcohol in ParliamentFirstly,I don't believe there should be alcohol in the workplace. Efficient working and alcohol don't mix.I have never worked anywhere where the staff are able to drink on the premises.(Clearly different rules might apply in the hospitality industry) Secondly, given the health consequences of alcohol consumption,it would give a very clear and positive message to the nation. I would point out that I am not anti alcohol, and enjoy sociable drinking on the right occasions.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tony Barrett

Keep Soho Safe!Soho is special. For many of us, it is our home and our community village. For others, it is a place where their artistic and creative talents can flourish. For London, it is a thriving area with the UK's best entertainment, restaurants and theatres. For the world, it is a cultural beacon, where different age groups, cultures and communities live side by side and enjoy life together.100 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Councillor Paul Church
