• Support James Pember
James Pember from Caerphilly is a fantastic intelligent young person who is the most kind thoughtful and funny boy I've ever met. His approachable and empathetic personality always puts everyone at ease and anyone who ever meets him thinks the world of him. He definitely deserves more praise for how much he is there for others but he doesn't always appreciate himself. This petition is to show him that we all care, and to encourage the Welsh Government to provide recognition of James in whatever way possible. Let's bring him to public prominence for his kindness!

  • Stop pavement parking in Levenshulme
To live more active lives we must recliam pavements for pedestrians, particularly those with mobility issues and pushchairs, who require more space to navigate safely. Now even what little space is left is being taken from us, by the very machines that made the streets too unsafe to walk on in the first place. We need to create spaces people feel comfortable in outside of a car, and currently we have cars clogging our paths, preventing the flow of pedestrians, and preventing the active travel that keeps us all fit, decreases the risk of crime (more eyes on the street) and helps business. Sign the petition! More info here https://streetsforpeople.co.uk/2020/11/20/the-great-pavement-robbery/

  • Memorialise Captain Tom Moore
There have been calls to build a statue to Tom Moore but I believe that he would rather see something that would benefit the NHS that he raised millions of pounds for in his hundredth year He did not start his task for personal gain but to thank the NHS for treating him The greatest tribute to him now would be to build a new hospital in his name for his beloved N.H.S.

  • In memory of all lost to Covid
I can't imagine that there is anybody in the UK who hasn't been impacted by the pandemic and would like to be able to remember those who have died - or been adversely affected in any way. At least this date gives a meaning for the whole nation.
