PROVIDED SANITARY PRODUCTSThis is a significant issue as it affects the majority of students and staff at the university. The sanitary needs for uterus-having peoples at the university are currently not being met. It is imperative that the university understands and accommodates the needs of its students and staffs regarding hygiene and sanitation. Period products are a necessity, but they are expensive. Tight budgets can leave people forced to prioritise other purchases, leaving them without the right period products, without enough period products, or without any period products at all. Women are forced to use socks, newspaper, toilet roll, or even bread to absorb their period. Many will miss out on school or work, or struggle to concentrate fully. Period poverty is an issue that affects 1 in 10 uterus-having students across the UK. This is an urgent issue. We are requesting university funding to meet the needs of the students and staff of the university.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Caroline Parks

Pavement's with potholes - make pavements saferI Went shopping with my neighbour, avoiding potholes on pavements. Coming off a pavement went down with zimmer & shopping. Luckily my neighbour was there to pick me up, my zimmer & my shopping. Pavements are just as important as roads. I've been in a 3 wheeler zimmer (because legs aren't great). Myself & my neighbour went shopping to nearby Tesco, avoiding potholes on pavements. I went back on the pavement because I knew it was flat to cross the road. Before I knew it, my zimmer, shopping & myself were on the ground. Luckily my neighbour was with me to help. If she wasn't I could have been there till someone walked or drove passed. I've never done a petition before, but what happens if it happens to someone else also?7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Diane NicAmhlaidh

Fine Downing Street Party goersBritish law is seen across the world as being fair and just. Boris Johnson and his party going friends has tried to make a fool out of us, our legal system and they have betrayed the people whom they are meant to serve . Mr Johnson and his friends think they can get away with breaking lockdown law in 2020 and the British public will let them. Let’s show them we won’t. Let’s force the Metropolitan police to take action investigate and prosecute the lot of them if it was true. Let’s hit them where it hurts their bank balance!55 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Carolyn Bookbinder

Set the lobster free!Because it’s unacceptable cruel and not humane to take a lobster especially one of this age out of the ocean and into a tank and the excuse for this is to stop it being eaten im sure he’d rather be free to swim the ocean and at least have a chance to survive instead of depressed in a tank!14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rose Barker

Slow Down Fast FashionFashion is a factor that affects everyone with its problems which are hidden in flashy and bright adverts and colours. Many ways of making clothes and transporting them affects the planet in many ways that are not often understood by many people. Our aim is to spread awareness for this problem through this petition whilst making a bigger change to our city and peers.46 of 100 SignaturesCreated by lizzie whelan
