  • Make housing developers be transparent in Salford
Current planning law states that if a developer will make less than 20% profit on a new development, they can ignore a council's regulations about building affordable and social housing. Leaked documents from several developers have shown that the maths they use to work out their profit margins are purposefully misleading, allowing them to claim they will make less than 20% profit on a development by undervaluing the prices of the houses they will sell and over-costing the labour. To combat this Islington, Greenwich, Lambeth and Bristol councils have introduced a policy that forces developers "viability assessments" to be made public. By bringing these dodgy maths into the public domain, Councils, campaigning groups and individuals will be able to hold developers to account and force them to use more honest maths. The Salford Star estimates that over 1,000 affordable properties have been lost to the city via these 'viability' get out clauses, plus over £40million in planning fees and obligations. Barratt Homes even acknowledged the controversy that surrounds the avoidance of fees by developers... "We note the Council has supported residential developments based upon viability to support a reduced contribution, and this can be met with local political and community unease" See these Salford Star articles to read how Salford Council cocked it all up: http://www.salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=2770 http://salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=3534 http://www.salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=3574 ...And then please sign this petition...

  • End The Unfair Pricing of Gendered Products
Why should women pay up to 37% more than men to shave, wash and keep themselves smelling fresh? It is 2017 and yet women are still being treated unfairly, earning less and paying more for basic toiletries, whilst men earn more and pay less. What example is Boots giving to the future generations by setting this terrible example in the UK?

  • Re-open pontefract lorry park
Pontefract used to be a thriving town with local and passing trade, in recent times many ships have become empty pubs closed etc, the closer of pontefract has had a detrimental effect on local establishments ,it wouldn't cost anything to re open it , If monitored could provide a fairly healthy income from otherwise non existent parking charges.

  • Make Ford UK recall, and fix how easy keyless cars can be stolen.
Hundreds of Ford cars that use their “Keyless” entry and start, are being stolen each week. Most of these being people’s pride and joy, with normally hundreds and thousands being spent on their cars. Ford are ignoring the issue and they should be held responsible! Every day on social media we are seeing Ford cars, like the RS and ST models being stolen in seconds, and this needs to stop, or make it harder for the thieves! I honestly couldn’t imagine how it must feel to wake up in the morning and see your vehicle not there. Insurance premiums are going up for these type of vehicles and most owners work bloody hard to own and maintain one, so why should little scum bags be able to steal them so easily and so quickly!

  • Make housing developers be transparent in Newham
Current planning law states that if a developer won’t make enough profit on a new development, they can ignore a council's regulations about building affordable and social housing. Leaked documents from several developers have shown that the maths they use to work out their profit margins are purposefully misleading, allowing them to claim they will make less profit than is accurate on a development by undervaluing the prices of the houses they will sell and over-costing the labour.

  • Drop the Daily Mail from the Nectar Loyalty Scheme
The Daily Mail had been known for spreading hateful, sexist and racist headlines. It has given a prominent voice to individuals such Katie Hopkins where she said migrants were 'cockroaches''. We do not wish to see well established and popular companies such as EBay and Sainsbury's having anything to do with the hateful publication.
