This station is on the mainline route from Swansea/Cardiff to Manchester and Holyhead, and serves a huge area of Monmouthshire and South Powys, the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains as well as the town of Abergavenny. There are 2 ways to reach the far platform at Abergavenny. One is by a steep footbridge which has 45 steps and is difficult to negotiate, especially in bad weather. The other is to cross the line, accompanied by a member of staff. If you wish to do the latter, then you are expected to phone to notify your request to travel at least 24 hours beforehand. If you wish to travel out of office hours, there will be no members of staff at the station and you are dependent on the guard or the driver of the arriving train to accompany you across the line. So much for spontaneity of travel for many people! We want a bridge with passenger lifts to give full access for disabled passengers, older people and those with heavy luggage. 30% of the population in Monmouthshire is over 60. We were granted the money and planning permission for the bridge about 5 years ago. It never happened because Network Rail could not work out what to do about the position of the signal because the driver’s view of it would be blocked by the new bridge. We demand that Network Rail solve this problem, find the resources and, either replace or resite the signal in order that work on a bridge and lifts can commence. This is not just important to local people; Abergavenny station is used by visitors to major events such as The Food Festival and the Green Man Festival, the Hay Festival, and the 2016 National Eisteddfod. All these events bring visitors and revenue into the area. If you believe, like the organisers of this petition, that this situation is not good enough and that there should be equal access for all at the station, please sign this petition.

Although many people prefer to walk the mile long byway others are unable to, disabled access to this public amenity must be re instated. Others affected include families with young children, fishermen, climbers, canoeists, in fact as there is no public parking on the road just about anyone who would like to visit.

Annet House is a stunning Georgian town dwelling and garden on Linlithgow High Street. Known as the rigg, the gardens would have been used to provide the everyday necessities for the family living in Annet House. The rigg today is maintained in a way that incorporates the species and varieties of plants that would have been growing in Victorian times. Spread over four levels the rigg also has a maze and Linlithgow's only known ice house. In a matter of weeks West Lothian Council will relocate the artefacts to the new Partnership Building and put the house and its stunning gardens up for sale. This part of Linlithgow's heritage will be gone and lost to the people of the town forever. Let's save this valuable resource for generations to come!

We don't need more plastic, more waste and more trash which gets created by pointless celebrations.

Twickenham High Street has a high turnover of shops, and the dreaded 'Twickenham Refurbishment' sees many small independent shops constantly close down. Another Tesco is not required on the parade killing the few small independent shops that are already established at that end of the high street. What is needed in Twickenham is variety of shops to bring a higher social impact to the community and more people to the high street. This is not a good location for a Tesco which will have an adverse affect on traffic and noise for local residential neighbours. Numerous alternatives exist that would better serve the local community and strengthen its economy in these tough financial times. There are already 5 other Tesco's within a short distance of the proposed location. When the planning application is received, planning officers must notify the public or neighbours, and consult with other council departments and any other affected people or organisations. The statutory consultation period is three weeks. I will post the link here when the application has been added to the online planning portal. If there are issues of concern, the planning department will instigate a review meeting within six weeks of registration of the application and identify amendments that could address any issue or problems.

There is nowhere safe to cross the road in Tattershall. There is a steady flow of traffic and not everyone slows down when they reach the village. Children, Elderly and other members of the community often have to negotiate their way across traffic just to do simple daily things like going to school or going to the shops. I am proposing a Zebra crossing this has several benefits. Our children, our elderly and ourselves will have somewhere safe to cross the road. Traffic around the schools will slow down cutting out the risk of any serious incidents. Because High Street is a major route for a vast number of trucks and farming vehicles with a zebra crossing this will still allow a steady flow of traffic and will only slow down when the crossing is used. I personally don't want to wait for a serious accident or even a casualty before anything is done about this.

Coplan Estates Ltd in co-operation with Bexley Council have announced plans to build 136 flats directly next to and above The Iron Horse in Sidcup, claiming the venue will not be affected. Nearly half of all live music venues in London have closed down in the last ten years, mainly due to flats being developed next to them and new neighbours complaining about noise that has been there for years before them. The Iron Horse has been a secure hub for the ever-expanding local live music scene in Sidcup since it reopened three years ago, providing a platform for new musicians to learn and develop their craft in front of an audience and also for professionals to put on shows and earn their living, in the rarity of supportive management and welcoming locals who are truly passionate about the scene. It is vital to the local community as the area's only designated live music venue. If these plans are to be approved, these developers will make a profit out of robbing the town of an evergrowing scene of arts and culture - which is attracting people to our town way more than another block of flats would.

we are residents of Heworth,Tanghall.Burnholme and surrounding areas. the field as it was known is the school field left to tang hall and st ailreds schools many years ago . st ailreds relinquished it when they moved and it became tanghall school field .Up until a couple of years ago it was used by the school but circumstances made it impossible to use and money to cut it came out of education funds. it was turned over to the council in march this year when tang hall school became an academy .the last time it was cut was august 2016 please help get it cut so its not the new tanghall tip . Its a big part of the comunity and has been an eyesore too long now

This pub has been trading since 1892 and so it has huge historical reference in Pontefract and is shadowed by Pontefract Castle. The pub is loved throughout the community and is beginning to become a hive of music activity drawing bands from far and wide as well as catering for our talented local musicians. It is the home of Pontefract Scooter Club, who regularly host events to raise money for local charities such as The Prince of Wales Hospice and The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The Hope & Anchor is an integral part of the community and we should be saving these historical institutions not turning them into offices etc

London borough of Hounslow canvassed sparrow farm and 85% of residence do not want 24 flats built in the middle of the estate and the destruction of our community they have again ignored the peoples voice

We are a registered charity. We have converted a bus to accomodate rough sleepers in Weymouth. We have fundraised ourselves and will continue to do so to ensure the running of the bus. We have skilled, experienced and trained volunteers to run the bus. We have the support of the Police and many other local outreach and recovery services. All we need is somewhere to park!
