The benefits and reasons to have public outdoor gyms in parks are well established. The outdoor public gyms enhance the local area, have positive impact on the public health locally and can improve the quality and versatility of its green and open spaces. However, the decision where to install these must be made in a transparent manner by the Mayor and the Council. Research conducted by Liverpool John Moores University found: • 75% or more of participants believed that outdoor gyms are easily accessible to them. • Beneficial for their health. • Enjoyable to use - 70% of participants find exercising outdoors is more beneficial for health than exercising indoors. 80% of participants find exercise more enjoyable when outdoors than indoors. In addition, outdoor public gyms in parks help in: 1. Cutting obesity - encouraging healthy living for all. 2. Providing free exercise equipment, enabling those who do not have the money for a gym membership to exercise. 3. Proving a family-friendly environment - a great way for parents to encourage their children to exercise. Even if children are too young to use the equipment themselves seeing adults working out in an environment that they are familiar with helps to make this seem like a natural part of daily life. As well as this, outdoor gym equipment in parks is an ideal way for families with older children to get out and exercise together. Cllr Maium Miah

Any approval to build, is one that has huge negative impacts, to the open space and special character of our coastline forever, the impact to the cliff integrity/stability. The photo shows a site highlighted as being built on, this build is now seeking approval for unapproved works. It is important because in 2015 over 1,000 people signed an online petition through change.org ( Protect Newquay Clifftops) to two applications to build on gardens at Island Crescent, Newquay. There were further objections made to Cornwall Council. This lead to one application ( front garden) being REFUSED by Cornwall Council, then taken to at appeal by the applicants and Dismissed by the Inspector. The other application ( rear garden)being WITHDRAWN. Yet they have built to that plan anyway!? Since then the applications have continued and concerns about them and their content raised to the planning department. Now a second APPEAL PENDING on the front garden. The applications have not stopped, with the applicant not adhering to two permissions on the rear garden.Leading to enforcement action, RETROSPECTIVE PLANNING PERMISSION PENDING to be decided early September. We need Sajid Javid MP, and Michael Gove MP. to: Protect our treasured and unique coastline and support: 1) The public voice of the community and wider. 2) Newquay Town Council. 3)Our Mayor past and present 4)The members of Cornwall Council Planning department against cliff top development ( last vote on most recent application 12-2 against proposal to build) 5)The Planning Inspector on reasons for his previous decision to Dismiss the application 6)Our local MP Steve Double 7) Facebook page Protect Newquay Clifftops This area once protected by the policies of the Restormel Borough Plan no longer are until the NNP is is in place. We need it not to fall into an area of no protection that would allow it to be built on. These are garden grabbing applications, this is not "brownfield land" and should not be seen as such. The National Planning Policy Framework encourages the community to engage, to have voice within its community. Please help the voice of this community and wider that seek to protect, preserve the coastal fringe of Newquay get the weight required to give credit to the development stages of the Newquay Neighbourhood plan to Protect our coastline from such proposals.

In a time of so many pub closures, we feel that BeerHeadz would provide a licenced premises to the area that will compliment the existing pubs/bars in the Bailgate area. If allowed to trade they'll provide employment in the area, promote Lincoln through pub tourism helping out local transport and eateries. Being free of Tie, they'll also be able to support the local brewery scene. They'll promote responsible drinking in a controlled environment, much more than the less controlled off sales from the supermarkets!

Edward Colston was a Bristol-born English slave trader, merchant and Member of Parliament. Much of his wealth was acquired through the trade and exploitation of slaves. Yet we celebrate and commemorate him with a statue in our beloved city centre. He has no place there. Following the events in Charlottesville and the announcement that the Colston Hall will be renamed, it seems appropriate that his statue also be removed. Whilst history shouldn't be forgotten, these people who benefited from the enslavement of individuals do not deserve the honour of a statue. This should be reserved for those who bring about positive change and who fight for peace, equality and social unity. We hereby encourage Bristol city council to remove the Edward Colston Statue. He does not represent our diverse and multicultural city.

*No to New Parking Restrictions & Cost for Residents and Local Businesses (by Tower Hamlets Council and its Mayor)* We, the undersigned, oppose and demand a full and proper consultation with residents and stakeholders about the dramatic parking changes proposed by Tower Hamlets Council to bring in parking restriction starting with B2 surrounding areas. If not challenged, this proposal will mean that residents will lose out in yet another money-making exercise by the Council at a time when the Mayor of Tower Hamlets and his Cabinet have given themselves huge pay increases. The Mayor gave himself 11.7% salary increase while residents had 9% increase in their Council Tax since 2016 as well as rates increases for local businesses. We fear that if not opposed, this money-making proposal will gradually spread across the borough. *The Council document titled “Proposed Operational Hours” is flawed and inconsiderate because:* 1) it fails to provide residents with a legitimate option to choose ‘keep parking restriction as is’ in the Council’s list of provided options to choose from. 2) being sent during school holidays when many families might be away. 3) will stop families, friends, relatives and others from visiting their loved ones. It will disproportionately affect families with caring responsibilities and those with extended families. 4) increase the cost of scratch cards. 5) will increase the cost and hassle for local businesses in the borough - some of these businesses have been slapped with astonishing rates increases from £600 sqm to £1000 sqm, instead of finding ways to help these businesses, Mayor-run Tower Hamlets Council is forcing extortionate parking times. *The options - in the council document sent to residents - are:* • Option 1: Monday - Saturday 7.30am to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm • Option 2: Monday - Saturday 8.30am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 10pm • Option 3: Monday - Sunday 8.30am to 10pm (Note: there is no option to keep the parking restrictions as is) Given the huge pace of development, over-built areas, parking and congestion issues in Tower Hamlets, the Mayor and the Council must do everything possible to restrict developers to have in-built underground parking spaces within the development, as well as providing a combination of other sustainable options instead of penalising residents and local businesses at a time when the Council is spending nearly £50m on consultants, IT upgrades, transformation and other unnecessary measures while residents' services are being slashed and huge salary increases are being given to the Mayor and his Cabinet. I stand with all those charities and community groups that provide transport for a social purpose and community benefit. They enable people to live, learn and work independently, to stay fit and active, to access vital public services and participate in their community. This type of transport provision is Britain at its best with communities doing things for themselves and it must be cherished, protected and nurtured. I want the UK Government to work with its counterparts in the devolved nations to commit themselves to making sure that nobody suffers as a result of its proposed changes operator and driver licensing. I want them to commit to fully understanding the impact of their proposed changes so they can decide whether all this upheaval is worth it and choose another path or decide how they can support those communities most affected, especially our most vulnerable and isolated citizens.

This is an open door for cyberbullying. we actively seek to stamp out bullying then seem content to let a vehicle where it is rife to exist. Kids are subject to peer pressure to have it as it's the latest thing and then these people are totally unaccountable for their actions. It's not right in a civilised society in my opinion. This app is dangerous especially for people with mental health issues.

Evidence from other countries and from the only Fracking to be carried out todate in the UK at Preece Hall in Lancashire demonstrates the industry has a proven record of environmental failures. At Preece Hall, which was being Fracked by Cuadrilla in 2011, as many as 46 earth tremors and 2 official earthquakes were experienced resulting in the site being closed down. Evidence has also been considered by the governments own Environmental Audit Committee and as part of their 2015 report they concluded: "Despite the assurances from some that environmental risks can be safely accommodated by existing regulatory systems, an extensive range of uncertainties remains over particular hazards—to groundwater quality and water supplies, from waste and air emissions, to our health and to biodiversity, to the geological integrity of the areas involved, and from noise and disruption. Uncertainty about their significance is in part a reflection of the fact that fracking operations have yet to move beyond the exploratory stage in the UK. It is imperative that the environment is protected from potentially irreversible damage. • Fracking must be prohibited outright in protected and nationally important areas. • Full containment of methane must be mandated. • Fracking should be prohibited in all water source protection zones.

St Sepulchre’s, the National Musicians’ Church, is an integral part of British amateur and professional musical life. In its north chapel lie the ashes of the founder of the Proms, Sir Henry Wood, along with a Book of Remembrance inscribed with the names of deceased distinguished British musicians. The church has long been a beacon for professional musicians and for all those who passionately support church music of all traditions. The decision to permit no further rehearsals or concerts by external users seems to go against the church’s own stated intention to be a ‘a spiritual home for musicians, and a place where excellence in music is used to the glory of God’. We ask the Parish Council to reconsider their decision and work with representatives of musician users to find a mutually beneficial way forward.
