I had to pay car park £11 for one afternoon to visit my Father in hospital. A nurse told me she came in for a half day training and had to pay £17 to park her car. A friend had his baby son in hospital for open heart surgery and besides the distress that caused, he was having to pay enormous amounts for car parking and getting fined if didn't make it back to car in time. The private car parking companies cannot be allowed to charge these unacceptable prices at hospitals.

Cigarettes are restricted from advertisement due to their health risks. Alcohol however also causes a lot of social issues such as binge drinking and anti social behaviour. Alcohol can be addictive just like cigarettes and therefore promotion of alcohol is as morally unjust as the promotion of tobacco

This woodland has been untouched for 50+ years. It is a small piece of habitat for wildlife on a very steep incline in the midst of a densely populated area with very congested roads. This woodland provides habitat for bats, owls, badgers, foxes, hedgehogs, woodpeckers, slow worms and a host of other wildlife. It also forms a protective barrier which mitigates the noise and air pollution caused by the railway line and the traffic on Muller Road, and provides run off to mitigate flooding on Muller Road when there is torrential rain. It may not have the kudos of a 200 year old Oak tree, but it is doing a good job, and to those wildlife, it's home!

This campaign is important because currently pub visitors have no idea that these devices are in use unless they peer over the bar and look for themselves. I moved up to near Edinburgh last year and hadn't heard Autovac (return trays) until a friend had mentioned them to me. He was always a bit of a joker so I naturally thought he was pulling my leg. However, a few weeks later a complete stranger whispered in my ear "I see you are drinking the warm recycled beer then...". It took me by surprise a bit and of course when I looked behind the bar I was horrified. The bar manager went into an explanation to try and convince me it was a good thing but this just doesn't sit well with me and if people are OK with this then that's up to them. It's often called Autovac, or return trays up here in Scotland. So far I have mainly discovered them in Edinburgh. Basically the drips that go normally go into a tray and get emptied out instead go back into the line and into the next pint. As previously described it's recycled beer and no matter how good staff training is there's an increased risk of contamination that is completely unnecessary in a modern pub. My position is this. I'm not trying to shut pubs, on the contrary, as a good friend said "There are good pubs in Edinburgh that could be a lot better". I'd like to see Autovac gone, but at the very least I'd like to see customers made aware they are in use. I had no idea and most people are surprised to hear they exist. With the exception of the tall fonts, the only way of knowing is to reach over the bar and have a look. Mandatory notification is the way forward I think and then customers can decide for themselves whether or not they are happy with the use of these devices. They need this medication to survive a life threatening condition. If you have a thyroid problem you get all your prescriptions free. The system should be fairer.

This is Important as it is an issue we have found within the area through talking to citizens and through investigating the services available that there is currently nothing available to aid them through their problems

Wearing the type of shoes enforced by the school decreases movement and exercise at break and lunch times. Movement and exercise has been proven to provide both physical and mental benefits. Some children walk long distances to and from school and the type of shoes being enforced are not suitable for this and may in turn see pupils abandoning beneficial walks and resorting to other forms of transport. We urge the school to be more flexible and reconsider its policy on footwear for the health of its pupils. Trainers have been designed as a progressive step towards increasing comfort and activity and we therefore find the schools policy on footwear regressive. Any suggestion to bring in a spare pair of comfortable shoes is impractical not to mention an added expense.

Rossington, Doncaster, has seen a massive increase in the number of flies, hundreds are entering homes on a daily basis. It is unhygienic and upsetting to residents who have put up with worsening conditions over the last 2 years. Businesses have been warned to improve their waste disposal and cleanliness but no lasting action has taken place and the issue has in fact worsened, leaving residents ill.

Indigo operate a poorly run car park for the demand it gets, and feel it is appropriate to fine staff because they have to park in the "wrong" space. Help NHS staff do their jobs without worrying about paying thousands of pounds in parking fines and cancel any outstanding debt. We should value our NHS workers, not make them re-mortgage their house to pay fines for something they had no choice over. Why should they save someone's life then find they got a parking ticket?

Most hospitals in Wales allow free parking for doctors, nurses, patients and visitors, whereas University Hospital Wales charge all of the above for using their car parks. It is very wrong that essential workers, such as doctors and nurses, are being charged for parking at their place of work, and the practise should be stopped immediately. After a recent unsuccessful challenge in court, these workers now face massive bills, which will cause severe hardship to most of those affected. This must stop NOW!!

Protecting cyclist will encourage more people to take to 2 or 3 wheels; in turn, this will deliver better air quality, improve health and make our towns and cities safer for both cyclists and motorists.
