Mobility Aids Center Totton, Hampshire must remain insitu. The sudden announcement that Totton, Hampshire Mobility Aids Center should close on the 12th October 2018 demonstrates a complete disregard for every local resident. The idea of a Mobility Aids Center is to assist those people most in need. I know personally how difficult it is to obtain such resources. Already there are severe limitations to Patient Transport, Community Transport. Being forced to travel to "selected destinations" will instantly be out of reach for local residents affected by the "change. Due to mobility restrictions of residents Fording-bridge and Lymington is impossible and definitely impracticable for the overwhelming majority. Visiting the Mobillity Aid Location in Totton has been my last resort and have been using the service for the past 15 months. Hampshire County Council have a duty of care for her residents. To allow closure is not the answer or a reasonable adjustment. What is certain Geoff Chesire "refuses to acknowledge people in crisis" This can not be ignored. Thank you everyone for your support.433 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Alec Nayler

Let's have lifts at Stroud station£300m of funding has been ear-marked by the Department for Transport to improve access at railway stations. Stroud station should have funding to be inclusive and allow everyone the choice to use rail transport and enjoy a smooth and comfortable journey. At the moment, the alternative route for wheelchair users or those who cannot manage the steps is a difficult route without dropped kerbs, over rough surfaces and with gradients that would be impossible for those not in a motorised wheelchair.1,376 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Kim Cowan

Increase and improve school transport facilitiesThe stress that is caused by buses not arriving, children being late for school and not being able to get home on time, will all impact on both their academic achievement and their emotional well being, both which will have long term effects on their place in society and society itself.163 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Rachel Murray

Huge price rise to park at work or forced park and ride!!I think there isn’t a person in this country that feels the latest pay deal we received was in anyway adequate and this was following a pay freeze for several years. Now to add insult to this our trust has decided to massively increase the cost for staff to park onsite using the cloak of “being green” as a reason. The alternative to parking onsite is a park and ride based in Fontwell - for many of us if we used this system would actually be travelling further every day - how green is that?? Also this would add a significant amount of time to an already long and arduous day.1,447 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Sally Laatz

PLEASE STOP THURROCK GRIDLOCK DURING QE2 BRIDGE CLOSURES28-8-2018 - The QE2 Bridge was closed from 2.20pm and not fully re-opened until 6am the following morning. During this time, local people and people from further afield were held up in hours and hours of delays with completely grid-locked traffic. This is becoming more frequent as the area gets busier and more development takes place. There must be plans in place to stop total and utter gridlock to our area. This not only disrupts local residents, it is detrimental to all the business who operate out of this area. So many hours are lost due to sitting in un-necessary traffic jams! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!!133 of 200 SignaturesCreated by A Non

Save Dursley's 62 bus service! For as long as anyone can remember, there has been an hourly service between Dursley and Gloucester. Bus operator Stagecoach says they lose £80,000 a year on this route and are reducing this service to every two hours. We want GCC to find a way to restore this service, which a local resident calls 'a lifeline', by exploring other options, e.g. subsidies, community transport, another bus provider. Otherwise, these cuts will be devastating for: Workers and students: will need to leave an hour earlier to get to work or college and wait an hour later to return. For example, some will need to get a 6.38 bus as the next bus at 8.38 is too late. Cam Rail Station: will no longer have an hourly bus service to the station and commuters may be forced to drive, increasing pressure on parking. Hospital patients: will no longer have a timely way to make appointments at hospitals in Gloucester and Dursley. Mental health service users: will now be forced to arrive an hour before their centres open; cafes and shops will not be open when they arrive. Businesses: fewer shoppers coming into Dursley and Gloucester. Rural communities: Berkeley will be impacted by no longer having a direct route to their nearest city, Gloucester. The environment: more people will be using cars to make journeys that they could once do by bus. GCC's Local Transport Plan says they will: "work with transport providers to provide an appropriate level of service throughout the day, evening and at weekends to link communities with employment, education, health services, retail centres and enable connectivity between bus and rail services". We call on GCC to restore this service and honour this plan.297 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Wendy Thomas

Protect our children from dirty air in LEEDSAir pollution is a public health crisis, with illegal and harmful levels of air pollution across the UK. We need national and local government to act to clean up our air and make our towns and cities a healthier place to live for everyone but especially for babies and children. Air pollution affects us all, from when we are in the womb through to old age. It is linked to premature births and can stunt lung growth in children. Air pollution can trigger heart attacks and strokes, worsens asthma attacks and causes lung cancer. Babies, children and older people are more vulnerable to the impacts of air pollution. We need the Council, with the support of national government, to take urgent action to clean up our air to protect the health of children and babies.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by tony jowitt

Reinstate the Preston to Fleetwood rail linkDr Beeching started the closure of the rail link and Fleetwood, a seaside town on a peninsula, has been in decline since. The infrastructure to and from this beautiful town is diabolical. It is quicker to fly to Geneva from Lancaster than get to Westminster from Fleetwood. It is 5 miles to the nearest station which is gridlocked at peak times. There is no direct bus to the station and 35.2% of Fleetwood residents do not own a car which is above the 32% National average. The whole of the district of Wyre, approximately 110,000, have had one train station since 1970 when the last passenger train left Fleetwood. With the creation of more houses in Wyre another train station is needed and with the shortening of the platform at Poulton-le-fylde meaning no direct trains to London/Glasgow can stop in Wyre the reinstatement direct to Preston is needed.821 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Mary Stirzaker Belshaw

Car seat safety starsCurrently, any seat which passes the European regulations ECE R44 04 or ECE R129 can be approved for sale. However, the level at which the seat passes can vary considerably, and car seats perform very differently in real life crash situations, meaning some offer more protection than others. The cost of car seats is no indication of performance in crash testing. Some of the more expensive seats, have not performed as well in crash testing as less expensive seats. The performance of the car seats should be something that is made clear to consumers, so that parents and carers can make an informed decision for their family, and have a true understanding of what it is they are spending their money on.419 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Multimac Child Seat

Dartford Crossing Price increaseIn the beginning we were promised that toll charges would stop once the crossing had paid for itself. Then the government welched on that agreement and said it would continue until they had a maintenance fund, currently crossing charges make a whopping £70 million profit; but still we continue to pay exorbitant charges; and they continue to increase the prices; and the money is being used to fund other projects which is in breach of the agreement.9,247 of 10,000 SignaturesCreated by Jayne Phillips
