• Mobile phones in cars and trucks
This important because lives of other road users are in danger, and people get killed, and the driver has shown complete disregard for his responsibility and care of his vehicle. If you are not concentrating on your task of driving, accidents are caused, they don't just happen. Texting and scrolling and watching videos is very very dangerous

  • Number 15 Bus- Caerau
Pensioners in Lauriston Park rely on the bus going down these roads. The extra 800 yards walking makes a real difference to those elderly residents. Also we are not happy at the lack of consultation that has been carried out on this.

  • Improve Road Safety Mansfield Road/Cross Street Area
These simple changes will have a significant impact on the safety of school children in the area and will prevent serious injury or death of a child. This area is in close proximity to three schools (Arnold Mill Primary school, Redhill Academy and Arnbrook Primary School) and a large number of children use the Mansfield Road junction and Cross street to get to and from school every day. The need for road safety is further strengthened because of recent serious road traffic incidents in this area that were reported in the media. In addition to this we have collected substantial anecdotal evidence of road incidents/near misses that have happened in the area as a result of inadequate safety measures.

  • Provide Catford Station with a lift service
As a mother of two young children, I have found myself in the position of having to carry a pram and still hold onto the other child, leaving me and the kids exposed to trips and falls. During the day the station may be quiet and there will be no individuals there to help you. This is not ideal especially if a parent has had a c-section. I have also seen many other parents struggle to navigate the steep staircase located at the station.

  • Monitor kerbside air-quality on roads close to schools
Recent research has established direct links between traffic derived air-pollution and impact on human health. Nobody benefits when the only air for breathing contains sooty particles -but young children are especially vulnerable. Its a fact that impaired lung-development, respiratory disease and reduced life expectancy are all a consequence of regular exposure to traffic fumes. Now its time to acurately measure just what is in the air around Welsh schools.

  • Subsidiary Bus Travel for Senior Citizens
It is important in society to be independent, be able to work and pay taxes and to support the system that we depend on. To then isolate people that cannot afford own transport how do we cope? Senior Citizens will not be so motivated or stimulated so this can create many health issues. Young people cannot get to work or college this creates a bleak future. Social life becomes zero without transport.

  • Reduce City Pavement Polution
It horrifies me to see diesel fumes being discharged into the faces of our youngest children in their buggies or toddlers walking with their parents, let alone at pavement level for adults to breath. If they were directed upwards to the highest level of the vehicle, it could make a significant improvement. It would not be difficult to extend the exhaust pipes of vehicles up the back of the vehicle; The older the vehicle, the more important to make this modification.
