  • STOP Windy Corner Road works - Galmpton Common
This is important as Torbay Council have a record of road works which have destroyed large scenic areas of Torbay without bringing any improvement to traffic flow and merely moving the traffic further up the road. The council has made no suggestion to reduce car numbers, create safe crossing for children at the common or to make a better path for them to walk. Out of season School traffic is the biggest contributer to increased traffic. This has been ignored in this proposal. Just as important the council has kept details of this out of the public eye without informing residents who will be affected , hoping to pass this without objection as residents have been made kept in the dark.

  • Zebra crossings for transit way
Transit way is situated next to a primary school. So there is a constant flow of children and young families. This area has become so unsafe. Christmas is round the corner so traffic volumes are also on the increase

  • Supporting Scapa Flow Fishfarms
These farms will provide continued economic growth for the County in one of our very important economic sectors. Each farm creates jobs, inward investment, supply chain opportunities with many fringe benefits to smaller communities through their very presence. The importance of fish farming cannot be underestimated in the complex matrix which makes up Orkneys economic model.

  • EPWORTH Inappropriate speed and driving
After trying to talk to drivers that are driving at inconsiderate speed it has been really difficult to get resolution. My puppy Puddles was hit outside our house at eight months old and a few years ago our family cat Millie was killed. As recently as last week my mother was almost hit by a driver who was enjoying his motor vehicle too much to care that he could kill someone. It is important to keep these roads safe for our children and pets. These dangers are increasing in the area and specifically Hollingsworth Lane is being used like it's the M1. This little residential lane was not designed for high traffic and inconsiderate drivers. Houses on one side of the road have no kerbside which makes it even more unsafe for residents and their families. Let's keep eachother safe. Please sign this petition and share it.

  • Improve Dog Friendly Facilities On BF Ferries.
The Terminal at Le Havre has no Cafe, no shop. I would like to see Dog Friendly Cabins brought into the Portsmouth to Caen Ouistreham route. Normandie Cruise Ferry is going onto the Le Havre route in 2019 but that Ferry has no dog cabins. At the moment Brittany Ferries have only one ferry crossing to France where dogs can go with the Owner into the Cabins I want to see that changed.

  • Call on Scotrail to publish cancellations
Cancellations and significant lateness (CASL) is not a regulated measure in Scotland like elsewhere in the UK. Instead companies like Scotrail cite PPM - trains arriving within 5 minutes of their scheduled time. What this doesn't reveal is the transport routes in Scotland blighted by cancelled trains or missed stops which is more inconvenient to passengers than a train 5 minutes late. The CASL statistic would highlight: Cancellations at origin Cancellations en route Change of origination station Failure to stop at a scheduled station Significantly late trains (late by 30 mins or more)

  • Unfair vehicle excise system
Drivers are losing out on £1000's each year when changing vehicles. The seller only gets back up to the end of the previous month the vehicle is sold, and the buyer has to tax the vehicle from when they didn't own it. It's morally wrong and no excuses now there is no printed disc.

  • Hgv zero alcohol limit
The minority of drivers that disregard public safety and consume alcohol when they are in charge of a heavy goods vehicle is shameful and the practice should be banned and the Services and truck stops that sell alcohol to these drivers should also be stopped
