A mandatory 20mph speed limit will make the town safer for children and adult pedestrians, cyclists and the elderly and vulnerable. 20mph is safer then 30mph. Safer streets encourage increased independent mobility for children and the elderly. It will make our town a healthier, safer place to live. Other areas of Milton Keynes have a 20mph limit. It's important that we demonstrate to Milton Keynes Council the level of local support for 20mph speed limit in Stony.
