Revoke the BBC's new political impartiality rulesThe BBC, nor any organisation, cannot and should not dictate what legal activities their employees engage in outside of work, as they have a right to respect for private and family life as set out in Article 8 of the Human Rights Act 1998. Furthermore, supporting equality and demanding fundamental human rights for disadvantaged and minority groups across the race and gender spectrums, amongst others, is not a political partial act, as the Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010 clearly set out the obligations of the government and society they represent; merely asking for these obligations to be met is not a political action and Tim Davie and the BBC should acknowledge this, or be guilty of the very partiality they claim to be trying to avoid.61 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lee Wynd

Underground cables instead of giant pylonsThe proposed route runs along the edge of the Galloway Forest Park, an area of stunning scenic beauty beloved by locals and tourists alike and home to a treasure of wildlife, many endangered, such as eagles, Cuckoos, wood warblers, song thrushes, grey wagtails, tawny owls and red squirrels. For around an extra £95 million it’s possible to bury the cables along the existing power line route and protect a precious irreplaceable landscape. This is Galloway’s pride and joy and four years at least of construction will also severely disrupt tourism, a main source of economic revenue valuable to our communities, as well as causing great distress to local communities. At a time when our ecosystems are under enormous stress. this fragile ecosystem needs to be protected. There is also still time to lodge an objection to the SPEN proposal. Closing date NOVEMBER 13th.76 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Siobhan Blaschek

Extend East Finchley Controlled Parking Zone to include Chandos Road N2The introduction of new cycle lanes on the High Road has removed significant parking capacity forcing many more cars to park on Chandos Road. This has left residents often unable to park on the road with no other options near by. It has also impacted the businesses at the end of the road.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rupert Lodge

Include a fully inclusive section in the planned London ResortThere is nothing in the country that caters and it would fill a serious need of inclusivity. It would also increase the range of people that would visit. A good percent of the population in the UK alone has disabilities and something like this would be utilized fully. This would also help families who have children with special needs have quality time together.18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Colette Hall

Help the homeless, not the tourism!!!We already know people working 30 hours plus etc are struggling on furlough, we know people are dying of covid, depression, loneliness and isolation. We know that this is probably going to be one of the hardest times of our lives. So what about the homeless? We're here thinking oh poor us because we can't work. What about the people who wouldn't stand a chance if they caught covid? It's unfair and its CRUEL. I'm disgusted that Blackpool council are spending thousands of pounds on pointless ornaments and statues when we have more pressing things at hand. It seems completely irresponsible and a huge kick in the teeth to Blackpool residents who actually care.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Beth Ashcroft

Include internet and mobile phone with universal creditKeep pace with modern times and if you lose your job you need the internet to use universal credit websites you also need your mobile phone phone to keep up-to-date with everything else. As these are now assessed as utilities shouldn't the government take that into accounts12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel o'brien

Stop Portland being a waste dumpIt would be detrimental to this UNESCO World heritage Site, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. it would generate pollution from the huge amounts of carbon dioxide from the incinerated waste imported from other areas. Plus the disruption and emissions from the 25-tonne articulated lorries. It would seriously damage the visitor economy just as Portland is becoming a centre for tourism. So much pollution for such a small Island is unsustainable.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Pothecary

A petition to allow our children to wear a colourful and more practical uniformThe parents of Avanti Park school understood that there would be a formal consultation on the possible introduction of a uniform from September 2021 as stated by the curriculum review. The early announcement of the introduction of a uniform without formal consultation came as quite a surprise to many of us. Little thought appears to have gone into the impact that this sudden decision has on both the parents and the children of Avanti Park school. The children of the former Steiner Academy Frome are used to wearing their own clothes and being able to express their own unique personalities and be treated as individuals in return. While we understand that you want to introduce a uniform, there are concerns over the choice of colour and we are asking if you could choose a colour that reflects the colourful personalities of the children who attend Avanti Park School. Please consider a brighter, happier, more visible colour for the school jumper. Purple or red has been a suggestion by many parents, purple seems to reflect the colours of Avanti School's trust whilst also potentially resolving the issue that is causing distress to children and parents. There has been so much change already that has been unsettling for the children so we appreciate you phasing the uniform in over the course of two terms. White is also a very hard colour to keep clean. We are a colourful, creative and happy community. Please allow the children to wear colours that reflect their personalities and ones that allow them to be safe and visible on the grey winter school mornings and neighbouring roads and pavements.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Clementne Wilson
