STOP PUPPY FARMINGBecause the way we treat our animals reflects on us all as a nation. Why should these so called breeders be allowed to ignore animal welfare laws, carry on their disgusting practice and lining their pockets whilst dogs die in squalid conditions in agony. These animals have no voice no protection its up to us to protect them from cruelty and exploitation and force the British and Irish government to act on their behalf.265 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Lesley Saxelby

Hands Off HRIThis is a huge community based campaign in Huddersfield. If the Hospital Trust is succesful, we will be without a hospital for a population of 250,000. We have taken out a judicial review but we also want the Independent Panel set up by Jeremy Hunt to intervene and stop the closure. If the closure were to go ahead, we would undoubtedly see people not reach hospital in time to receive emergency care.1,294 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Mike Forster

Equalise cross-country races for men and women in EnglandWomen & men race over the same distances on the roads and on the track, but in cross-country the women's races are often much shorter, sometimes barely more than half of the men's distance. For example, at the SEAA Main Championships the senior men run 15K while the senior women only run 8K. That is as if the London Marathon was 26.2 miles for men and only 14 for women. This both downgrades the women's event compared to the men's, and sends a message to girls that they are not capable of as much as boys. Sport should be empowering girls and women, not keeping them in their place. It is 33 years since the women's marathon was included in the Olympic Games. The IAAF have equalised the distances run in the World Cross-Country Championships, and Scottish Athletics have done the same for their national championships. It is high time competitions in England followed suit.3,196 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Maud Hodson

Save Hallglen Sports CentreHallglen Sports Centre is the hub and heart of Hallglen Community but also caters for other areas in Falkirk. I have been involved with Hallglen Sports Centre for over 20 years now. The last 18 as the Chairman and the Lead Coach of Azami Falkirk Judo Club and have members of our club represent Scotland numerous times at home and in Europe. The club caters for a wide range of disabled people who have competed at a high level in disability competitions which has improved their lifestyle and confidence generally, but it is not just our Club who use the centre, there are numerous other groups and organisations that use the Centre on a weekly basis (Forth Valley Gymnastics, three different Cheer Leader and Dance Groups, weekly Yoga Sessions, two different Ju-Jitsu Clubs, two different Taekwondo Clubs, Karate Club, Balintawak and the main hall is booked most weekends for birthday parties and various other events. This is a busy centre with some weeks up to 1,000 people entering the centre. Could everyone please get behind this petition. There is nothing else in Hallglen or the surrounding area for community events and some place for children and young adults to go. Please support this petition. To: Royal Bank of Scotland Stop RBS closing The Inveraray BranchRBS has given a stay of execution until December 2018. There are no guarantees they will then keep the branch open - despite businesses, individuals & charities facing a 74 mile round trip to bank if the Inveraray branch and the ATM are closed. The tourist industry is under threat if there is no bank in town and jobs will go. We can't let up the pressure now - keep the signatures rolling in and write to our MP, Brendan O'Hara, to continue his support.804 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Marian Pallister

SOMERSET NHS under threat - sign and take action! This is a big step towards breaking up the NHS in Somerset. It splits up the NHS family, can make services worse for patients, and puts staff at risk from attacks on their pay and conditions. Together we can stop the Trust’s scheme. To do that we need the strength of EVERYONE. Please sign our petition, share with family and friends, and across social media. Let’s get as many signatures as possible. The Trust is currently refusing to consult and engage with trade unions and the public! The 350 workers the Trust is targeting are employed in Estates and Facilities. But if this plan goes through, other departments will follow. Hospital bosses want to make terms and conditions more “flexible” – and we all know that’s code for cutbacks. YDH’s claim that this scheme reduces their VAT payments is misguided. More Parliamentary scrutiny is falling on NHS Trusts who attempt to lower their tax payments. It’s robbing Peter to pay Paul – it doesn’t create any more money for public services. The only people making a profit are consultancy firms “advising” the Trust.1,027 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Charlie Woods

Save the Trees on New Road, St Johns WorcesterTrees give a place character and help filter out pollution along that busy road. These trees have been there for almost 100 years and even if replanted (which is unlikely) will never be as majestic! It will ruin the character of Worcester and will completely change the view from St Johns into Worcester and vice versa.4,072 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by kerry smith

Extend Consultation Period for Stretford Masterplan. Some of these concerns are (but not limited to) the haste with which the plan has been launched with seemingly little data, plans or research available to residents to substantiate claims of regeneration. Furthermore, there has been information emerging throughout the process that has caused alarm such as the design of the scheme, environmental impact, impact upon current residents and loss of public facilities and access to public space. Whilst we broadly support a vision to regenerate our town centre we cannot support a Masterplan which shows no consideration for incumbent residents and any impacts upon them. With further information it is entirely possible that we would support this plan - however as such information is not forthcoming we ask you to extend consultation and engage with the community meaningfully and openly. Save The Three TunsThe Three Tuns is a much loved local public house which is not only a part of the local community but contributes to the local community through its regular fundraising activities and events. Furthermore it is a significant outlet for sales of beers produced by the Drone Valley Community Brewery, which itself donates profits to local good causes.717 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Mick Coles
