Save the Number 27 busNational Express have made plans to stop the 27 bus. It goes around Birmingham to places that don’t have public transport otherwise. Many residents in Stirchley and Bournville would be out public transport which they use in their daily lives. This would affect elderly people who use it to get into town and shopping centres, as well as children who use the bus to get to and from school. The National Express have launched a public consultation. If as many of us sign the petition as possible, we can show them how vital the 27 is to so many people.3,392 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Nicky Brennan

Request an independent review of how the BBC portrays the Welsh language. This petition was originally launched in August 2017 on the day the Welsh Government published a white paper on the future of the Welsh language BBC's flagship current affairs programme Newsnight posed the question "is the Welsh language a help or hindrance to the nation ", this was followed up in an item where the presenter suggested the Welsh language was a hobby and invited a contribution from an individual with a long track record of trolling the Welsh language. Since then there have been a number of instances where the Welsh language has received negative coverage on the BBC, with an episode of Have I Got News For You broadcast in Friday, the 30th of April, mocking the language in the name of comedy. A review would enable the preparation of a documented audit of all items relating to the Welsh language and would be able to establish if indeed there is an issue with regards how the Welsh language is portrayed and to assess what editorial systems are in place to ensure editorial fairness.8,621 of 9,000 SignaturesCreated by Huw Marshall

Support with north Lanarkshire for children with additional needsI feel this is important as my son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum 3 years ago. Since then I have had little to no support. It has been a battle from the start to get any support within school which he now has some but not all the support he needs. There is no club or group I can take him to within my area and I feel he is being social isolated even more. There is no drop in session where I can go for advice or support when I need. Where it is advice on handle his behaviour or on school matter or even help filling out forms. After being involved in some online support groups I have learned I am not allow in feeling like this and now parents r starting to cum together to fight for a better future for our children. We want to raise strong independent adults who will have a service that will support them. We r not asking for anything that other local authorities dnt already do. So please share and sign the petition so we can have a better future for our children.1,076 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Karen McKeown

Speed Humps and Working Speed CamerasThis is a family built up area. With a school situated along the road. Lots of local shops children and elderly live along here. Home owners are to scared to park outside their homes and are forced to park on the local pub situated down the road. I myself have a young baby and this is unfair I have to lug all the bags and carry my child down the street because of careless people17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sammi Allan

Langport Hanging Chapel Medieval GatewayThe Hanging Chapel is iconic to Langport and has belonged to the town in one way or another for centuries. It is deemed to be of national importance and scheduled under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act of 1979. At a meeting of Langport Town Trust in June, the Town Council as sole trustee, voted in secret to offer the present tenant the opportunity to buy the Chapel. Local residents are outraged and want to be consulted on the future of their much loved local 'treasure'. Many local people are flabbergasted by the decision not least because of the secrecy surrounding it. As the only councillor present at the meeting to oppose the sale, I have been reported for breach of Code of Conduct in revealing something I consider to be in the public interest. Attempts made to force the Council to revisit the motion (which is not not going to be made public until after negotiations are completed!) have failed. The 'Friends of the Hanging Chapel' are determined to secure the building for Langport's future generations and will leave no stone unturned. They thought it was safe in Langport's Town Trust. Please support our efforts.1,358 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Val Saunders

The Buxton Water ScandalI have visited the Town Hall in Buxton, on various occasions, requesting a contact number for whoever is responsible for turning off the Lion's Mouth Spring at the bottom of the slopes. This has been happening regularly and for long periods of time. The Town Hall have been extremely evasive and dismissive and I have visited Buxton Advertiser on three occasions, asking them to look into it, should they be so kind, which they have been and have followed it up. My last visit to the Advertiser was today and I was told that they had received an email explaining what was going on. In short, the email stated that they were trying to work out the best way of reconnecting the supply from the pump house to the lion's mouth. Hmm, that seems to be in contrast with what I was told by multiple members of the office staff involved with renovating the Crescent. They informed me, and were quite adamant about it, that the supply pipe at Nestle was connected directly to the lion's mouth outlet, and they knew this, becasuse the first time that the spring stopped, they thought somebody on site was responsible, but discovered that this was not possible, due to the above and they also informed me that they have no input, nor are they doing any work on the pump house at all, because they contracted a separate company in to do that. I will detail the reasons in more depth, should the need to arise, but for now, it ought to suffice to say that the spring has now been turned off for eight days. I have left a flyer taped to the statue, stating that there will be a meeting there at ten o'clock in the morning, this Sunday, 13th August, to sign a petition and to discuss the issue. On Monday morning of the 14th August, we will be meeting again, to present the petition to the Town Hall. I intend to send other petitions, with more signatures, through online methods and I aim to start a 'Ban Nestle Products' movement in Buxrton and a march to Nestle, to explain our demands, which are "Leave our fresh water spring alone".... erm, that's it, really. All this takes time and energy and I don't want much of yours, but if you support the historical use of Buxton water, from a public spring, for free, just 'like' this post. I will use the likes as support for the petition. It is important, because people depend upon this water as it is healthy water and not detrimental to the health in any way, as tap water is. It is important, because Nestle and Buxton Town Hall seem to be hiding something and being elusive about the matter, so one can't help feeling that some form of underhand practices have been exercised. Thank you, for your time, and if you would like to sign the petition and hopefully meet some rather nice individuals, that would be fantastic.12,246 of 15,000 SignaturesCreated by Gaz Butcher

Improved holiday provisions for all special needs children in Telford and WrekinTo support families with complex children during school holidays giving routines, consistency and respite. Having a provision like this would improve mental health and wellbeing of everyone involved. Parents are exhausted and children have no where to go that is suitable for their needs. Even if they do have access to the small amount of trips and playscheme available it is small and not consistent throughout the entire school closures. Parents who are employed are unable to go to go to work as there is no permenant or regular provision suitable for their child. We are not able to send our children to just any holiday club or child minder... They are extremely vulnerable persons and have to have all of their needs met and understood. Our son is 5 and a half years old. He was placed at The Bridge Assessment Nursery for almost 2 yrs so was able to access a holiday playscheme for a couple of hours twice per week for 4 weeks. We were grateful for this little bit of respite at the time even as small as it was, but as our son has now moved to another special school there is no permenant holiday provision at all. Not having respite for a family with a special needs child is so difficult. Our children need routine and consistency and don't understand why school closes for 6weeks+, this accentuates all of their difficulties.201 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Lucy Trower

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL 47 BUS ROUTEBecause it allows transport to and from rural areas into the city center for those who perhaps have no other means of transport. This is an important issue due to the fact that many school children who lived slightly out of catchment areas used this bus service to travel to and from school; now these children are forced to be up earlier to walk to a place where they can catch one of the school provided bus services. People of an older generation who are unable to drive were able to use the old 47 service to travel to other villages or into the city, whereas now they have no other way of doing so without in some cases needing to pay taxi fares or relying on friends or relatives who drive. In particular I find it rather disgusting that the Nottingham City Transport did not advertise the cuts to the 47 services enough - because my daughter who at the time was just 15 years old, got on the 47 bus from Lambley to go to a friends in Calverton was told to get off of the bus in Woodborough because this was where the route terminated now. My daughter was left stranded and was forced to get a taxi instead. Overall this is an important matter because the points previously made.114 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lindsay Selby

Diana Princess of Wales HospitalAlready the stroke services, and now the urology department from Diana Princess of Wales Hospital is being moved to Scunthorpe General Hospital. But for those of us that rely on our local hospital it's much too far to travel. Many of us who don't drive are left out on a limb, and find it really hard to travel to other Hospitals. It is very important because if nobody says anything, we could see this hospital closing altogether.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Anne Squire

Misportrayed brain injuriesMyself and 100's of other brain injured survivors are appalled and disgusted at the way a bleed on the brain has been dealt with. Many of us still struggle Day to day years after a ruptured aneurysm. A character on Emmerdale had the same life-changing event and was in surgery the same day and back drinking on the pub 2 days later . We feel very let down by the ITV and this portrayal in the storyline has damaged the hard work many of us do to raise awareness649 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Janine Gray
