Stop the Burmester Road mobile mastHave you noticed the new metal cabinets at the end of Burmester Road? They are part of Vodafone's plan to build a 15 metre mobile phone mast on the corner with Garratt Lane. You may have heard about this before. The original plan for the Burmester Mast was opposed by numerous local residents and rejected by Wandsworth Council in December 2016. Vodafone have always been well aware of this. Thanks to a legal loophole, Vodafone consider they can build the Burmester Mast anyway, within metres of Burmester House, despite the objections of local residents. Indeed, they sent the diggers in at the end of August to start work by building the cabinets. Mobile phone companies such as Vodafone should listen to local residents. There are acres of industrial use land on the far side of Garratt Lane where the mast could be situated, which would still give us better 4G coverage. Wandsworth Council are trying to find alternative sites, but Vodafone consider that legally they could still build the Burmester Mast. If we unite, we can stop this. If you want your voice to be heard, please sign this petition calling on Vodafone to relocate the Burmester Mast. It will only take 30 seconds.....165 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Local Residents

Save our Disabled Children's TransportCoventry Council are making the families of disabled children pay £600 a year for transport to and from school. This service used to be free, but now families are being forced to fork out. The wellbeing and education of disabled children is being put at risk. Disabled children should not be punished for going to school.2,229 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Mandy Siddiqui

Stop the inhumane deportation of Dale A McIntierSandra McIntier is severly disabled and requires round the clock physical and mental care. If her husband was deported it would have devastating affects on her. Dale McIntier would suffer extreme mental health issues if he had to leave his wife without the love and stability that she needs. It would hurt our government purse to deport Dale. Tax payers would have to pay for his flight home and also round the clock care for Sandra. It makes no sense to deport a beloved husband who is a wonderful part of the community.13,859 of 15,000 SignaturesCreated by Samantha Hendry

Support social housing in UlverstonThis is important because even in the 21st century some seem to see affordable housing as a privilege rather than a right. Their have been attempts by a minority of local residents to paint potential tenants as, and I quote "young, single unemployed drug users" which is not only an awful statement to make but grossly untrue. The aim of this petition is to show that the vocal minority are just that - a minority. Affordable housing should be a right, everyone no matter the status should have a roof over their heads and this development address a very critical need in Ulverston - their simply isn't enough social housing.367 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Peter Garbacz

Stop cuts to IVF in Bristol, North Somerset and South GloucestershireThe NHS Bristol is being crushed under budget cuts. Now fertility services in the Bristol area are under threat. Current proposals are to limit treatment to to women aged between 30 & 35 years (previously anyone up to the age of 40 was eligible) where there are no existing children and only one cycle will be offered. The upper age limit for men to receive treatment will also be reduced to 52 years. Half the couples who currently receive treatment in the Bristol area will no longer qualify and will be forced to pay for treatment privately or go without. These proposed cuts to fertility funding are a shameless attack on desperate women and couples and will do little to nothing to relieve the budgetary pressures that the NHS is under.1,319 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Kitty W

Change the name of Latimer Road station to GrenfellThe fire at Grenfell tower saw a tragic loss of life, innocent people dying in the most horrific of circumstances. I propose that Latimer Road Underground Station should be renamed in honour of those that have suffered, and to the lessons we must take forward. A permanent renaming would see future generations being aware of the history of the area. London has Monument station which is a testament to those that died in the great fire of London of 1666, an event that shook the city to its core. The current name of Latimer Road is misleading. Latimer Road is located 5 minutes from where the station is, I therefore see no reason why such a change could not come about. The shell Grenfell Tower is located 100m from the station, the train line passes by it . We should not try to block out the horrors but look forward and work together. Efforts are on going to safeguard our families at this time but we must be wise to our choices and make the world a safer place. The renaming to Grenfell would give some permanence those that died in the fire.1,537 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Rory Guinness

We support David Kiff and Wanwan Qiao's right to stay in the UKThis is important because the government should not be able to force a family to relocate especially if one spouse is married to a UK national. This puts stress on the expectant mother and is completely unacceptable. We support her right to stay in the UK.2,328 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Nadya Giffen

Delays and lack of communication regarding spouse visa enquiriesIt's important as genuine people's lives are in limbo. Some people are made physically sick with the long waiting of 7, 8, 9 even 12 months. With little or no response from the HO. MPs try to help in certain cases and they are also told to tell the sponsor to wait with no explanation other than "it's still being decided". I don't think they realise the anguish, heartache and trauma that some people experience. It's difficult to go about daily lives with no update from the HO when enquiring about the visa that you are applying for just to continue living a normal family life with children or husband. The public are not aware of the mounting costs the HO / Government are charging after you have paid your fee.150 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Africa Njie

Save The Railway Inn, PontefractThe landlords have decided they want to sell our beloved pub to developers and make it into houses. They have given the Railway Inn just 6-months’ notice before it’s shut down. The pub has here for several decades, the owners don’t want to leave and we want to keep our pub. I myself have been coming here for over 18 years. This is the centre of our community and the heart of the estate. This is the place we call the "office". This is the place we all meet. You cannot close it down!1,198 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Claire Lloyd

Make Sefton a Frack-free ZoneUnconventional oil and gas extraction (“fracking”) will have an impact on our countryside, climate and local communities. It uses vast quantities of fresh water and chemicals and, as we have seen in America and Australia, this type of extraction has a detrimental impact on our natural resources, the environment, health, noise and air pollution, traffic and local communities. Fracking has also been known to cause earthquakes. The people of Sefton do not want this type of extraction taking place in any part of the borough.965 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Paul Bradshaw

Villa RoadVilla Road and Hunters Road are being used as a dumping ground for illegal fly tippers, and as a race track for speeding vehicles. Pavements are impossible to use because of inconsiderate parking. Anti social behaviour has increased since the part sale of the council owned carpark in 2014. This is having a direct impact on local businesses and people living within.63 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mohammed Ali
